These same old shits are getting stale.

Some new colorways based on the OG layout would be dope tho.

Just a thought.

We have like 10 skins though. I don't know how to, but it would be nice to make Orange Soda and NC Dark modular. There's also a NC Dark 2 that's labeled TEST. I'm not sure if that's admin access-only or what.

None of the vB 3.x skins are modular.

That was a vB 4 development.

Are you thinking of fixed width vs dynamic?

No. The lime green is too much a part of us now. We'd feel lost and confused with any other skin.

I agree with Dom, lime green til death do us part.

Not a fan of the green tbh...unless it's packed in a bong.

Yes. That's what makes it modular.

Yes. That's what makes it modular.

No. Dynamic width has nothing to do with modules. All it does is scale tables/divs to the user's resolution.

Are you willing to concede that I probably know a lot more about vB than you or do I need to actually provide you evidence of this?

Diode, you know things.

It does not need to be a competition.

You are intelligent, succesful, attractive, and we love you.

... I wasn't the one making it a competition. I told Certain that there was a difference between dynamic width divs and modular skins. He told me that was incorrect.

How am I being competitive if someone is telling me I'm wrong when I have factual evidence and experience with said subject?

I dunno, I don't know what any of this means.

You know more about vBulletin jargon, obviously. You know more about Internet design and coding in general. And I agree with you. I also never said you were wrong. Maybe it's just my company that uses the phrase modular design to refer to a website that adapts to the width of the screen. Or maybe this doesn't qualify as modular because the pieces don't shift while changing width. I don't really care what vBulletin calls it, to be honest, but I also never disagreed with you. You're just too thin-skinned and competitive not to turn everything into a competition.

You:

", but it would be nice to make Orange Soda and NC Dark modular."

Me:

"vb 3.x skins can't be modular. they are dynamic width, but not modular - that's a vb 4.x feature"

You:

"they're dynamic width, hence modular"

Me:

"that's not what modular means"

You:

"Essay on how Diode is competitive when I say something wrong and tell him my definition is the only one that matters"

k.

I didn't even say that. I said you were right. My first post was me using the wrong terminology. My second was because I still wasn't clear on the terminology. You won this argument, except that it never was an argument. (Well, now it's an argument about whether it was an argument.) I know that's important to you, but no part of me thinks I know more about vBulletin or Web design or coding than you, so why would I argue with you about it?

Just take away some that we don't really use & replace em w/ new ones. Have them like the OG lime but different colors.

The NC dark would be ill if it was actually sized right. The text isn't wide enough. Same w/ orange soda.

The American would be better if the text boxes were white instead.. but cool shit nonetheless.

didn't even notice new skins. trying now. blue dream is dope, imo. America one is weird. Classy is favorite. Dark remind me of old school forums like rm back in the day lol...
