this past week was pretty decent, some no shows, but watever, shits just starting & well weed out them lame muthafuckas, we have some new sign ins, Cashius the lonely virgin, kami old school dude from nc.1.Me & sharp put this mag together for yah'll,.. Ight lets get into it, u weak smuts.

Greed vs. Obnoxious
Pretty one-sided in favor of Amen here. Greed’s personal about the filter in Amen’s avvy was nice, but despite some pretty cool concepts everything else kinda fell flat or felt forced, mostly from wording. Obnoxious was consistent as hell, the only line that didn’t really hit was the run for his money line but everything else was good. Overall an enjoyable read but Obnoxious was just more effective.
Karaoke vs. Defiant
Cool battle. These dudes have a history of battling and managed to avoid dropping unmotivated verses. Both guys had nice verses - Karaoke’s Tim Duncan and Michael Phelps lines were good current events while Def’s Cosby line was clever and second place had a nice personal touch. Ultimately voters felt that Karaoke’s verse hit harder and was better worded, giving him the win.
Potatosacklegend vs. Unfukwitable
Kinda meh battle. Unfuk is capable of some pretty dope wordplay tbh, Potatosack is an alias or something with a pretty good handle on text but some so-bad-they’re-good attempts at wordplay. This week he had some better attempts at flips but didn’t do anything too hard hitting. Unfuk didn’t come too badly but didn’t bring the heat he can. His opener and Final Fantasy lines were pretty cool and voters thought he won handily.
jilti vs. Mercules
Not either guy’s best drop. Merc especially had some played or obvious flips like his misses line. Jilti was alright concept-wise, but didn’t flip them as harshly as he did with his H&M bar. Overall both guys are definitely capable of more, but voters felt that jilti had some stronger hits than Mercules and they gave him the unanimous win. Looking forward to seeing better from both guys since I know these two can drop pretty dope.
tyler vs. Odd Ways
Cool battle. Tyler showed some rust here, while Odd Ways was able to capitalize on that. Both dudes didn’t bring anything heavy, mostly sticking to jabs but Odd had a more consistent verse. His Kimora and face scan lines were solid hits and he didn’t have too many misses. Tyler had the Odds in your favor and his roulette line was nice, but most voters felt Odd had the better wording and gave him the dub.
Blanco Bishop vs. E Tha Real
Kinda disappointed by this one tbh. Blanco isn’t the type to half ass a verse but it seemed like he was pretty rushed to get this one in and his verse suffered. Most bars were pretty awkwardly done or statementish. E is still working off some rust and this was on the cornier side of what I’ve seen from him… that half-assed bar was cringe worthy. But he still had some decent personal attempts that made him the clear winner to voters.
Packed Graves vs. Destroyer
Personally thought this was mad close. Both dudes were pretty consistent throughout and used a few nameplays, Destroyer’s PG line and Packed’s Mendez lines were probably the highlights. Packed had a few more played out ideas while Des’s flaw were lines that just fell flat, and voters were split between the two. In the end Des won on consistency by a close margin.
Alvin Karpis vs. Knucklehead
Dope battle, BOTW pretty handily. Both guys took some pretty overdone angles on each other (Indian girlfriend vs. Jew) and flipped them well. Karpis had the Jew see fruits line that was harsh as fuck and Knuck’s server issue flip was cool. Voters were split on this one but the slight consensus was that Knuck had harder hits overall. I thought the Mike Brown flip was the LOTB. Battle was close as fuck but just enough guys felt knuck got it to give him the win.
Muff vs. Wordz Ahgod
Close as hell here. Both guys came with cool concepts and alright delivery but were hindered by some misses/poor wording. Voters each had different bars they thought were good and bad but most thought Muff’s God nameplays and Wordz’ kegel muscles line were dope. Came down to slight preference but most voters thought Wordz edged it out and he squeaks past Muff.

This is hard as fuck to predict. Knuck’s coming off of some solid verses while Allen is NC’s win leader. Especially with some newer personal concepts to throw at Knuck I think Allen will drop some harsh stuff. Knuck’s no slouch either so it’ll prolly boil down to a few bars with weird wording. This is too close for me to make a solid prediction but since I have to I’m gonna edge it to Knuck just cause I haven’t seen Allen drop a verse in a minute cause he’s been getting noshowed. That said he could easily come out on top here too.
