Things Past

Hello love

Allow me to get this off of my chest
The pain of regret
That purple heart with a date tatted onto your breast
Wistful thinking unchained and unkempt
Left us wanting more from each sex
I wanted more while you wanted to do less
I kept it simple and clear, you...
a mess and complex
I digress
We were once happy together
Any fight was a storm we could weather
But pain that remains will then fester
Eat a hole in the soul until severed
God I miss the day's we had
Toes sifting through sand
Gripping your hand
The glare reflecting ashore
Your white smile infecting my core
Your crinkled nose when you'd smile and stare
The way you asked for more when I'd miss-style your hair
You didn't care
Then our lives came tumbling down
Your belly expanded and I loved you when while round
A perfect birth as I cried in my gown
New life...
A higher purpose we found
Young Death...
A adolescent coffin inserted into the ground
Struggles ensued
I once loved waking to family feud
Now it's just crude
You raising your voice is my proof
We used to talk the night away
Now we still do
Only less conversation and more devastation
Broken heart, now running low on china to throw
I miss time the most
The time's he'd wrinkle his toes
Still staying in the tub, not cleaning, just float
The times he would play with my nose
You'd read your book smiling at notes
Only death can take away such a bond
I miss you both
And I'm sad we don't get along.

If Arid checks in again or posts I am formally requesting the option to make a real verse by Tuesday

DO NOT OPEN FOR VOTES OR DO, I don't care much but would rather win writing.

I actually like that verse.

Meh verse, easy scheme but solid visual and emotion

EDIT: you would love remedial rhyme schemes huh perv?
