he just never did it for me. anyone can see he's skilled but i just didnt hear any songs that made me a fan. also the amount of love he got for his album i thought was unwarranted since it didnt do much for me, again i could see the skill and see why people enjoy it, it was just whatever to me tho

so my general disinterest combined with the general love he gets makes me more haterish towards him instead of just simple ignoring him lol

shit song, Kendrick's verse was good but didn't strike me as something special. might be because it's on such a garbage song though, affecting me subconsciously. cool assonance and internal rhyming though.

Guys, I said the song was terrible. No one said anything else. Maybe I'm overreacting to Kendrick's verse because there's no reason he wasted a verse this good on this terrible a song. But tell me these schemes are slick:

I think it was basically because I was listening to this trash early Rich Gang mixtape and then Kendrick came on this terrible song and (comparatively) killed it. In retrospect, I'll go with the last verse on "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe (Remix)," after he'd already bodied Trinidad James.

never heard that remix before, shit was dope. Def a better verse than the one on the Rich Gang song (which was nice technically, but nothing overly compelling or interesting in terms of subject matter).

His verses on Sing About Me (not Dying of Thirst) I think are pretty remarkable, if not the most technically wowing.
