Don't put up with that nonsense. if somebody talks shit ie. Y DID U BUMP INTO ME WAAAA u just gotta lay down the law quicktime. If the person is fat u tell them maybe u should hit a treadmill, shuts them right the fuck up. If the person is skinny or regular j intimidate them with a Deniro R U TALKING TO ME? stare. If the person is jacked act like you're a fucking crazy psychopath. Everybody is afraid of crazy people, even police.

lol u still so mad over online beef u must have low self-esteem issues. I tend bar I am in a position of power and coolness. U r in a position of a short mexican who tweezes his eyebrows (low power position)
I prefer the subway to driving tbh, allows me to read and shit, send off emails and whatnot. plus it's way cheaper, cars are like perpetual money black holes. that being said I still got my car back home, leasing it to some Japanese exchange student.
asian people aren't rude on the subway so much as they are obnoxious, disgusting, and have no concept of how to not be in other people's way

cant believe you got a fellow new yorker in here trashing the transit system.
owning a car is one thing but using it for a daily commute in the city seems so ridiculous to me. some of the wealthiest folks i know still take the trains and busses downtown to their offices. because people drive like shit, sitting in rush hour traffic is a horrible experience to have twice a day, and that strange calm that washes over you once you slump into that plastic subway seat and close your eyes after a long miserable fucking day is irreplaceable. theres a sense of community on public transit. idk. maybe its my own experience growing up on it but i love the subway. rude people everywhere though.
i saw a guy take a shit on the floor of the green line and then come ask me for a dollar. for what? a roll of toilet paper? nasty fuck

lmao there's dudes w. million dollar nest eggs b/c they save throughout their career by doing shit like riding the subway. Not that that long of a period,, or accumulating that much dross interests me so much but it's a no brainer if u live in the city. One time this dude on the 6 came in holding I think his own shit then sat down talking to himself in the middle of rush hour and cleared the whole car except me bc I had a stuffy nose. Then I snapped out my reverie and that shit hit me...got outta there quickly. There's some characters though. Some dece singers, slam poets etc that randomly perform and there's this homeless dude i been seeing since middle school who grabs the pole and does the mystikal lean back song while shifting backwards on the pole...shit's hilarious. U also get performers that create a human wheel and go down the subway cars. shit can be interesting but usually i j meditate

Owning a car if you live in Manhattan or Brooklyn is stupid. Parking and traffic are miserable, and the subway system serves its purpose well enough.
What would you know certain
Have u been here ?
Yea exactly

I don't even have a drivers license. Sure there's times when it would be useful, but meh... I don't really need it tbh, I get where I want to be and I've gotten used to not having it so taking the train/bus whatever is of no issue to me. The only thing that sucks is that public transportation sucks in my hometown, but even thinking about having a car in Oslo where I work is laughable.

is oslo anything like amsterdam?
i was shocked at how few people drove cars vs. how many rode bikes everywhere. the building near downtown where every parked their bikes was as large as any parking garage in chicago.

they added repeaters to most of the platforms back when i was still up there. i know they were talking about doing the tunnels next. i'd imagine, at the pace of the MTA, they may have completed 2cm of a tunnel somewhere in jamaica by now
