dancake what are you
i'm 6'1'' 225. i've thought i was 5'11 since 8th grade. when i was 19 i was 5'11'' and 3/4. but last week i was measured at 6'1''. im 25 now so i think im done growing? i thought i was done back in the day DOE
but yea. everyone knows flacco's da god, he'll restructure his contract or we'll cut people and it will be worth it.
now what does a 2xl size look like dress clothes wise
like they got chest and arm length and shit.
i got the shoulders of an iranian sheik, the barrel chest of a carthaginian and the gut of a barbarous pict. what does that translate too in measurements?

Why not get measured?
It won't be comfortable unless you do there's a reason they don't use l xl xxl etc it has to do with more than one part of the fit

uh-oh, four pieces of advice:
1. Get measured at JC Penney's or Macy's or where ever you were planning on going. It takes two minutes.
2. Don't buy shirts labeled "fitted." They're for in-shape people, not us.
3. Look for wrinkle-free because you definitely don't plan on ironing it.
4. Whatever they tell you the neck size should be (the number that's in the 17 or 18 range), go a half-size up.
uh-oh
04-13-2015, 04:08 PM
word
bout to just cop this
http://www.nautica.com/wrinkle-resistant-striped-shirt/4505343.html
mainly because i can select the 2xl option and feel better since i've never bought a 2xl that was too big.
i'd like a plain white shirt but she wants a white and light blue scheme and shit so i guess that would work?
taking recommendations itt
if it was up to me i'd wear jean shorts a wife beater and timberlands

That shirt should be fine, but it's overpriced.

get measured, stupid.
neck and sleeve.
and don't look at msrp anything. kohl's has good deals on decent brands from time to time, especially around now when they do their gold star clearance. izod is good enough for you to not be dirt.
i don't think you have belk there but something equivalent will also work. shop fit + sale, always. never buy off the internet.
uh-oh
04-13-2015, 09:22 PM
yea i just bought that nautica one yo
i wear a 2xl. thats all i needed to know. when i was physically at the store browsing, i didn't understand the sizes, and i aint the type to try shit on and ask for assistance so i just copped what i knew and bounced lol. (pants and belt)
i don't need or want it to be super form fitting
im going to be wasted in the sun with it half tucked in in the front sweating through a fitted hat and scuffing a pair of jordans
LIKE A DOCTAH
The fact ur only 25 really hurts my heart
dead man
04-13-2015, 09:26 PM
jordans and slacks and a nautica dress shirt with a fitted hat is really an awful look for a wedding dude. actually it's pretty terrible in general.
you're serious about that?

Ppl in polos/jeans?

The only casual wedding I have been to was my aunt's second wedding. (Her husband was on his third.) They basically turned it into a family reunion because they already had done the fancy services in past weddings.
uh-oh, nothing looks worse than slacks and sneakers. Wear jeans (or Dockers/work trousers, if you have them) if you don't have decent shoes. Return the slacks and belt.
I can't believe you dropped $70 on that shirt, though. You know they sell shirts with letter-based sizes at the same store you bought the pants and belt at, right?

they didnt tho or else i wouldnt have come home and made this thread. they had regular button downs, but not like dress shirt button downs with stiff collars for ties and shit. the dress pants i got are just some khaki type pants , they will be fine with jordans. when i say jordans also i don't mean the ugly colorful shits either. i havent copped them yet i'm just gonna customise some on the nike site to match the shirt and customise a fitted
uh oh is 25?
yes

you recommended IZOD...
i'd rather just pay 70 for an overpriced nautica.
i appreciate all of your concerns. i'll post pics its in a couple months and you will all see i'm a fly hooligan and you will all be jealous you have went to weddings your whole lives looking like substitute school teachers

For the love of god do not wear sneakers and a fitted with a dress shirt and slacks that is the stupidest fucking combo in clothing history
Certain

They put the dress shirts (with numbers) in a different section than the more casual button-downs.
I can picture his slacks baggy as fuxk just engulfing his entire sneaker whilst a Alvin Karpis esque button down flows uncontrolled in all its triple x glory
Top that off with a sweat wrinkled Cleveland cavs fitted and uh oh is a certified BASWe

That's literally not worth the money.
Same clothes since '10 crew.
Why get a polo when hoodies crew
Basketball shorts and hoodie crew
Workout in a hoodie crew
Wear jacket over clothes when not in hoodie crew so people don't realize you wear the same shirt circle every week crew
Bank account on moderately more swole than if I spent money on clothes crew but still very dirt poverty crew
