Do you believe in the Big Bang theory?

If so, where did the matter for space come from?

*This is not for Jews, Christians, Muslims, agnostics, etc...

I missed you.

And yes, I accept the overwhelming evidence, though there is a lot about it that confuses me if i am honest, but still, everything points to it happening so I have no reason to doubt it.

My little cousin likes to play pretend & I listen to her so why don't you go right ahead and share your personal Big Bang pseudoscience to the world, it can't be any worse than the rest that is already out there

I'm interested to see your take

on either extreme

we have either omnipresent matter that existed before everything else so heavily condensed it explodes into everything (I think?)

or invisible intangible guy (that looks just like us!) made everything about 6000 earth years ago and satan invented dinosaurs to tempt the people he put on the planet that look just like him

but considering we've been able to observe light that's around 13.2 billion years old that's just pretty dope

if this is v wb bro

i dont BELIEVE in the big bang theory. the science points to it occurring. im not sure if they have proven it yet but i know they have telescopes and imaging that points to everything expanding from one point through time

Well yeah

The general scientific consensus is that it's the most logical explanation and there is some evidence

But I'm open to it being different - that said I wouldn't expect that kind of knowledge to show up in my lifetime

But spooks back? Cool, sign into nbl. We have Africans and gay amen now

do Atheists believe in science? I guess i'm trying to figure out what they believe.. Maybe they just don't care.

But i'll say this much, alot of science out there, not all... but alot of it is B.S. and lies that experts try to pass off as fact! and they teach it to the kids in school smh

Is this a serious discussion now? Big Bang definitely happened, just what was going on before that (essentially how you get something from nothing) is the question physics is trying to answer now and actually making good progress.

Here's my theory...

There's nothing special about Earth cuz there is so much evidence for life on other planets. I mean hard facts and empirical evidence absolutely everywhere & not only that when I think about Hiroshima and Nagasaki being bombed it all makes sense.

Hiroshima then...
http://www.english.illinois.edu/maps/poets/g_l/levine/bomb/hiro2.gif

Hiroshima today
http://www.pcf.city.hiroshima.jp/kids/KPSH_E/hiroshima_e/sadako_e/subcontents_e/images_e/17_1.jpg

It only makes sense that a big explosion happened in the beginning. You see it! You can't deny it. It's right there in front of your eyes! Then lightning hit the swamp. And the rest is history...

You got me, some of it isn't really science, it probably fall under another term.
But one example of something considered fact that isn’t is: “how many days are in a year?”
We’ve been taught that there is 365 day in a year, when scripture says there is only 364 days in a year

both of these things can be true, though

not to mention the Gregorian calendar (365 days) was invented by a Pope
