no idea who my teams gonna take. like usual
being as im in browns country i get inundated with useless browns news tho
if they trade up to get mariota they are retarded.
their best bet is to get bradford from the eagles. doubt they'll do it tho. chip chipperson kelly is smarter than that. maybe.
but word who's hype for this boring event????????
i'd like to see devin smith go in rd 1. massillon/akron representa. but he wont if teams are smart. if somehow he fell to the ravens life would be great

Are you saying bradford is a good trade piece?
uh-oh
05-01-2015, 07:47 AM
bradford is better than mariota winston and every qb on the browns roster
if theyre gonna throw away 2 1st rd picks they should do it for bradford not one of the rooks
~RustyGunZ~

They need to put their faith into Johnny football
Tbc
But honestly nothing is gonna make them a good team ever so they can do as they please

IMO Bradford is just as much of a question mark
the amount of conditional draft picks involved in the trade make me wonder but I'm always worried about QBs with bad legs

I have prayed to 16 different gods that Leonard Williams falls to raiders
bradford isn't doing shit from the IR lol which is where he will be. and Cleveland is dumb as fuck if they trade their first two picks for the 2nd pick...they will miss on that pick guaranteed lmao
i dont really care today tho because JIMMY GRAHAM and we don't have a pick until basically round three unless we trade up which i hope we dont because money. but also hope IF we do we land the best guard/center in the draft. we got 11 picks tho im not worried
I have prayed to 16 different gods that Leonard Williams falls to raiders
looks like they listened...oakland on the clock with leonard still there

This is the dumbest thing you've said.
I'm happy with Kevin White. Very, actually. We're going to be a last place team no matter what. Cut Cutler next offseason, draft QB in the first round, draft nothing but defense in rounds 2-7 this year, move towards something. White > Cooper for a lot of scouts. It was horrible to see Leonard Williams go one pick before us (to a team where d-line is their biggest strength already) because he's the best fit for our needs, in addition to being the best player in the draft supposedly. But not mad at all at the Bears' pick.

you think mccown, mariota or winston is better than bradford?
meh they've needed oline for years tho.

McCown? No.
I don't know what Mariota or Winston will be in the NFL. I kind of buy the hype with Winston, and tend to think Mariota will be a bust. But they have potential. Bradford is an injury-prone quarterback who's below average when on the field. His downfield throwing numbers are some of the worst in the league. There's an article about it I could dig up. The advanced stats hate him. He doesn't pass the eye test; I've never watched Sam Bradford play football and thought he was a difference maker at all. His absolute ceiling is an average quarterback (although in Chip Kelly's system I could see him having some good years) whereas you can at least envision Winston or Mariota being franchise level quarterbacks if you're sipping the Kool-Aid. We know what Bradford is. I'd much rather have Winston, and would probably take Mariota over him too.

thats where we differ
i'm not throwing away two picks on hype
you know what your getting with bradford, and with their run game and defense you just need him converting on 3rd and medium.
but none of it matters now, the browns are showing signs of having a brain

Hype was the wrong word.
There's a chance Winston or Mariota could be franchise QB's. Bradford will never be a franchise QB. Any GM in the league, including Ozzie Newsome, would take Winston or Mariota over Bradford in a hypothetical NFL all-player draft, it's just a fact. You're doing your whole hipster opinion thing right now and I'm falling for it.
Saying you prefer Bradford because he's in an offense where he just needs to convert third and medium is like saying a Pinto is a better car than a Lambourghini because you only drive once a month. It's an asinine argument.

i disagree with mariota or winston being franchise guys
i think bradford is good enough. i don't like winston or mariota. they could prove me wrong. cam newton is.
but he's the only one who's proven me wrong. other than rg3 in his rookie season lol
but to be fair i haven't backed any qb's other than luck, and i was saying he'd be an average qb
and he's above average. so their is that
i'm also racist against black qb's if im being honest. i think winston is better than mariota tho if thats any consolation
uh-oh
05-01-2015, 09:55 PM
also ozzie has only got it right picking a qb once.
and that qb was 3rd string and only started because other qb's on the roster (troy smith, and kyle boller) were injured/sick
so even the wizard of oz sucks at picking qb's
i'll eat my words if i'm wrong
the main point is i think it wouldve been a waste of 2 first round picks to get any of them. i'm not saying bradfords WORTH it. none of them are. i would just be most comfortable throwing it away on something i know is serviceable enough.
uh-oh
05-01-2015, 09:56 PM
also, it isnt fair for winston and mariota because they went to terrible organisations lol
so even if they were franchise qb worthy i don't think we will see it.

2 rbs already
Hmph
my money is on winston being a bust tho with how TERRIBLE he is under any kind of pressure in the pocket -- and he can't escape the pocket.

if shane ray falls to the ravens im gonna cum out of every pore in my body

lol
i respect the aggressive trade by denver. they need to win while the have peyton
gregory might fall to the ravens tho
uh-oh
05-01-2015, 10:45 PM
ozzies probably gonna go with his alabama connect and grab landon collins
i dunno tho, i didnt keep up with this draft like past years their might be better players out there
Lol Randy Gregory was projected top 5-10 before testing positive for weed

Lol Randy Gregory was projected top 5-10 before testing positive for weed
word? ravens might grab him them. i've had my head in the sand this year, this is the first i'm hearing of him.
they'll take whoever they have ranked highest regardless of need so if he's talented he'll be ranked high
but the whole ray rice fiasco might make them more hesitant with off field issues. granted they have a track record of taking these dudes with minor offenses and benefitting/helping them
but that could change
HYPE THO FOR WHOEVER
FUCK i wanted us to get perriman. averaged over 20 yards per catch last year. YAC ATTACK
uh-oh
05-01-2015, 10:57 PM
NOT HAPPY WITH THIS PICK
i like dude
but devin smith is better
biased as fuck tho
i went to massillon high school, and am a buckeyes fan.
uh-oh
05-01-2015, 11:04 PM
after my initial feelz just passed
im happy with the pick. lol. he's a G
devin smith might fall to the 3rd tho cuz he's perceived as small. and only looked at as a deep threat cuz thats how the buckeyes used him. but word realistically as far as the nfl is concerned perriman is probably the better prospect.
still salty tho. green beckhams still out there too right?
lol yeah he is a G. irvin was his mentor/family friend too
and yeah DGB is still there. raw as fuck but is being compared to Calvin Johnson so
uh-oh
05-01-2015, 11:07 PM

alot of wr talent. i just slept on perriman honestly. i'll have to get more acquainted with da god

If the Bears don't go all defense the rest of the way I will be annoyed.
Randy Gregory would be cool. Linebacker and secondary is more important, but I haven't followed this draft at all and if Gregory was a projected 1st rounder then fuck it take him. Brb dropping a round for smoking something that's becoming more legal by the day.

I'm happy w/ our 1st rounder.
uh-oh
05-02-2015, 08:01 PM
collins to the giants, smith to the jets, funchess to carolina
i hope the ravens don't take duke johnson lol. i mean he'll be solid im sure but word
i dunno anyone left really
this is where it gets fun cuz i get to actually research who my team drafts. instead of vaguely knowing who they might
i'd like to see them get heuirman or however you spell it. TE from OSU. not this round tho but in the late 3rd/4th

Eddie Goldman might be the best DT in the draft. Steal of the draft so far

looks like we got the best TE in the draft?
which is dope. not sure how i didnt hear about him/didnt pay attention i guess. i knew about funchess but most have williams as better which is dope.
lost a 5th rounder to move up 3 spots tho, but if it means we stole him from the steelers its worth it lol. plus im pretty sure we had 2 5th rounders anyways.
but word im happy with it. i was sure we'd grab gregory or strong with funchess gone but i slept on williams
yeah probably the best. fantastic hands. cowgirls grabbed gregory :(
and fucking bucs moved up to steal marpet. FUCK THIS SHIT
~RustyGunZ~

ESPN's coverage of the this 2nd day of the draft was a sad excuse for television. I mean, they're always greedy and they're always resting on their laurels...but at least I still usually wanna tune in. But this is a new low. Particularly towards the end of the 3rd round, it was literally 5 minutes of commercials for every 3 minutes of draft coverage. Also, I want to hear Mel and Todd inform/analyze/argue/predict...whereas I do not want to hear Trey Wingo's long-winded backstories about the kid's upbringing and his family.
NFL network had "the C-team" out, and also too many commercials. So I didn't really wanna watch that either.
If I had any guts I'd boycott ESPN for all of their bullshit, and I'd follow through with my threat to boycott the NFL and not watch it-- for horrible officials who treat a clean hit to the chest the same as a viscous head-hunt, among other things.
But I guess I don't have guts. I love the game, and have for most of my life. What can I say.

James Jones bout to be cut to, I feel like he'd be a solid fit in B more, but might head back to Packers based off familiarity
uh-oh
05-05-2015, 06:04 PM
i remember him being solid enough with green bay
havent heard from him since tho he fell off the earth playing with the raiders. either because he did nothing there, or the raiders just aint relevant out here
honestly i was happy with our receivers before this draft. smith/aiken/brown/camp
but word with perriman now, our practice squad guys, and the 6'6'' dude out of georgia tech im super comfy with our receivers
not to mention the TE's we drafted, even if the kid from delaware is just a situational blocking guy
i think our offense is straight
if ozzie does anymore work in free agency it should be on the secondary, and or just defense in general. our offense is more than competent enough.
the loss of mcphee, and ngata is much worse then what we lost offensively
a healthy jimmy smith and webby instantly makes our corners more stout
but them banking on elam magically making a leap in progression is worrying. but word who knows
i'm ready for preseason tho hopefully summer goes by quickkkkk

he didnt get pancaked lol
he did get STIFFED THO i guess after rewatching the vid. initially thought he tried to cut inside, but he tried to plant and drive into dude and his knee gave out
