i just take a bunch of shit, an ipod, my phone, my lunch, cigs, lighter, keys

i usually just forget like my lighter or phone/ipod

but today i got up early to do laundry, coffee did nothing and i was a zombie while leaving, patted all my pockets like word i got everything, got out to my truck and was like FUCK

locked out. go to go back inside, but my front apartment is locked, so i pushed in the window and let myself in the building, but i knew it was for NAUGHT because my apartment itself was still locked.

just had my sister come let me in she has a key somehow lol

if you haven't broken into your property at some point for forgetting something stupid like this, you haven't lived.

luckily i tend to leave windows open and i climb like a monkey.

Serious question. I can understand the door to the building auto locking when you leave but how does your apt door lock with out the key?

You can lock doors without using the key??

My gf's door is the same...its like on a latch so as soon as you close the door its locked, u only need a key to get back in.

I don't lock my doors tho, ppl don't rob me.

my apartment door has a deadbolt, and the regular like, door handle, lock. like you push the doorhandle from the inside and turn it and that locks the doorknob itself.

its like the type where if you have a credit card you can slide it in and unlock it if that makes sense?

but i couldnt do that because the giant weatherstripping blocking it, i would've needed a phillips to take that off.

but word i just lock it by the handle itself when i leave.

i didn't think about a window tho, i'm on the second floor but i'm pretty sure the railing leading to the back entrance is close enough to where i could maybe climb in or break a leg. lol. all the windows are closed cuz its summer and air conditioning exists, but my windows unlocked fasho

but word all ended up well. i went into work an hour late and my boss and me talked about ancient egypt and the fact that if you looked at it on a timeline cleopatra was alive closer to us living, than her to the building of the pyramids. apparently spike put out some king tut mini series he was recommending i watched. he also happily told me sharknado 3 comes on tonight, because for some reason he thinks i like those because of a patrice o'neal bit i stole about how syfy names its movies in a way where you know exactly what the movie is about.

but word all is well in the world of your boy. now i'm stoned drinking hawaiian punch out of an empty wonton soup tupper ware thing, listening to david choes podcast hoping i hit the powerball tonight so i can live his life. the life of fucking a different prostitute every night, and doing whatever i want basically.

I've managed to close myself out of my house countless times. Funny enough I have never managed to not get inside my own place when drunk/completely fucked up. Only forgot my keys or lost them when I've been sober so far.

It was fairly easy to break in where I grew up so the few times I forgot my keys I got inside. It's harder where I live now and thank God for that cuz some junkie tried to get inside when I wasn't home some time ago.
