yeah...as irony would have it, i was working as a vet tech when i met the lady upstairs, and i assisted in the euthanizing of her severely sick cat. i've been drunk with her a few times back when she lived across the street from me and gushed about how my calm manner helped keep her together during the whole process of putting her cat to sleep.


now, i'm living in the basement apartment below her (this is day 8 btw) and her favorite dog died.


mr. coolbreeze (me) comes home from work and her boyfriend is in the back yard digging the most pathetic grave i've ever seen, and she's pulling out of the driveway hysterically crying. turns out she was headed to the store to get booze, understandably.

but i guess when i said "if you're gonna be driving, you need to keep it together," it triggered the whole "oh Phil can bury the dog," idea in her head.


bitch came back, with a bag full of wine and a face swollen with grief. i think she's fucked for life. i'll put the little one in the hole for her. meaning, her dog in the ground.
