yoooo
i will up this once a week probably, or at least weeks where i am undecided
this week is my flex spot.
desean jackson
mike wallace
marcus wheaton
eddie royal
danny amendola
lol. desean jacksons "projected" the most but i hate those projections and have never trusted them. personally i'm leaning wheaton. i don't know enough about the bears to know if royal would be smart. same with the vikings, i think wallace is their number 1 guy? but i view him as a home run hitter like 3 years ago who i honestly forgot about. amendola is intriguing me as well, but i'd feel better about starting him if edelman was out instead of lafell
basically i got too many receivers to chose from. i don't got any rb's for the flex spot. i got forsett and crowell starting, and bell is suspended
who would you start?
also at tight end i kind of shit the bed and didnt draft anyone thinking i'd just grab one week to week, but the league im in everyone hoarded them like weirdos
so thats between charles clay, who could be dopeeee with tyrod up there, he aint gonna force passes to receivers so i think he'll get looks. and i got crockett gillmore from the ravens, who no one but ravens fans knows is nice
i just wanna see the rotation at tight end there first, so i got clay starting this week, in case the ravens give looks to williams and boyle
but word. THOUGHTS?

i forgot to mention its a PPR league, which i am unfamiliar with as well.

It's all a crapshoot but
desean jackson - He's a starting caliber (top 20ish) wide receiver. That said, he's the definition of boom or bust. Projections are worthless; there's some crazy stat about his number of great (15+ point) days and horrible days. Texans secondary is okay-ish.
mike wallace - I'm in Vikings county and I don't believe the Wallace hype, at all. He had to work himself into shape during camp/pre-season. The secondary is the only part of the 49ers that still exists. Stay away, my opinion.
markus wheaton - Decent option. With Bell out and the Pats' weak secondary, there's a possibility that Wheaton gets a decent number of targets. That said, he's one of those LaDarius Green types who everyone thinks will break out but is actually shit.
eddie royal - I picked him up in a few leagues on spec. Although I think Chicago will be a shit team this year (:/) they're still going to be a decent offense. Alshon's a bit hurt and Royal can break out a big game here and there. I expect him to be a borderline flex play all year.
danny amendola - lol. I'm good.
So it's between Royal, Wheaton, and Jackson. I think Wheaton has the best matchup, Jackson the most talent. Both are boom or bust. My gut says Jackson but this is an impossible call.
You don't have any runningback options?
Drew brees
Adrian Peterson
Heath Miller
Bengals defense
Can't remember who else atm tho

im with dancake. you should be fine with jackson, wheaton, or royal.
jackson is the number one target on a team with a mediocre defense so i would expect him to see decent usage if they trail during the game.
wheaton is behind antonio brown but the steelers like to throw the ball a lot. he should see decent use but is slighly less likely to score than jax because there are other targets.
royal is a solid pick because he probably better chemistry with cutler than some of the other wrs since they played together in royal rookie season to the tune of nearly 1000 yds receiving and cutler isnt the most popular dude in that locker room. esp with alshon injured could see some decent run this season.
amendola maybe for this week because a lot of the other pats receivers are out, but i wouldn't expect any positive results to last.
Jamaal Charles
Odell Beckham
And Jordan Mathews (no idea what to expect from him)

Matthews is going to be dope, trust. High tempo offense, and he finished strong last season. He's the most talented and incumbent receiver in a potentially dynamic offense. I wish I had him in a league but I draft with people who pay attention, sadly.
what is this a 12 or 14 team league??

what is this a 12 or 14 team league??
12.
and word to all that @cakebrother
pretty much my thoughts exactly, the only thing that has me hesistant on jackson is the PPR thing. even in a best case scenario i'm basically envisioning him getting like 2 catches and 1 for a td
meanwhile i see the pats bum secondary double teaming brown and freeing up wheaton who i've seen do work the past couple years in his limited field time.
as far as backs go, i basically got the AFC NORTH. bell (suspended) forsett, crowell (was hoping duke wouldn't be cleared but he should still get 20 carries with bumass mccown at qb and the jets D harassing him). also mccown is gonna be a checkdown susan if he knows whats good for him, so the ppr format should help crowell in that facet
but word those are my backs, i basically have a roster full of flex receivers lol.
my lineup right now is

Lol your name
Line up is fine but I mean he's got Rodgers and Beasrmode

Lol word
I just desperately wanna make up for the loss of bell these first two weeks
But word if wheaton goes off tonight im going to hate myself.
Strikta captain kirk better pull through and target desean alot plz
Oh yeah word you got Bell. You should be alright with those 3 backs unless Crow plays miserably and/or Duke impresses. You should look for Brandon Coleman (NO) on the waivers if youre starting to really hurt for a better flex wr. been getting a lot of fantasy hype. probably will produce more than amendola and royal. i think royal is on the abysmal Bears now and probably not even starting lol
tevin coleman on the waivers too but he's probably on a team already

MAN WHERE WERE YOU AT THO
i fucking started wheaton because im an ANTSY faggot who was wanting to play someone in last nights game lol. i let the hype of the shitty pats secondary go to my head, and the fact big ben couldve thrown it 50 times
meanwhile deangelo williams decided to be competent behind the steelers line and fucked everything up
wheaton got me 10 points
but FUCK
Wtf at deangelo williams looking 5 years younger tho
Well I guess its too late But Wheaton looked alright considering. Not in ppr tho lol
Hopefully someone will chase lewis' points and drop someone you can use

it all worked out in the end. i made the right decision going with wheaton.
wheaton - 10
jackson - 0
royal - 1
amendola - 4
wallace - plays monday
won my matchup because the dude i played was dumb enough to start devin smith for the jets, and mike evans for the bucs, both of which didnt play
117-94
forsett couldnt do shit today which is troubling since he was my second pick. put up 9 points. 5 of which were catches for basically no gain. crowell did NOTHING as well, i underestimated the jets front and underestimated their offense. thought it'd be a low scoring game with crowell getting 30 touches. but i shouldve remembered the browns are dumb.
so i got 1 more week i gotta make something happen before i get bell back to balance my team out
my first pick at WR did WORK THO, hopkins put up 32 for me
