The championship is suspended until further notice. We're here to write, not quarrel over imaginary accolades. I feel like this will benefit the league by removing what we're "aspiring to achieve." What we're really aspiring to achieve is to write some great poetry for free, and share it with a bunch of strangers. At a point and time, the championship/contendership matches may return. As is, records will still not count towards site records, and the fun will continue. Every match is a regular match now.

If you sign out because you don't want to be a part of a league without a champion, then maybe you aren't here to write - maybe you're here to boost your own ego. Think about it.

Special Rules for this match:

A Wobbiling Charriot - lead by a Ancient Horse; wheels rickety
cart full, of stones: other heavy building blocks, minerals, off, of, the, bricks, falling, apart; minerals sparkle...
Hard to Envision the pilliars without being in the vicinity -
Marvel at my Architecture - the blueprint, I have here, is Infamous
Sharp tools chisel away until my Pillar is carved into the Histories
Carpal tunnel from hammering away until my wrist is injured
Harp tune from the Appreciative Gods; scintillatingly startles
A lazy worker has been struck down: mouth bloody, spilling
He garbles something before the Master drives a stake through his head like an Innocent narwhal
"If ANYBODY ELSE WOULD LIKE SUCH A FATE"
Pulling the Axe Pick out of the head- swift and unartful
"SPEAK NOW"
As workers carry heavy cinder blocks, continue on, wheels rickety
Awful...the builders brains partially visible: Yet None of the workers have the grit or the heart to
Speak up, in fear of a certain repercussion, a decision too harmful..............
I found this City of Bricks and left it A City of Marble
