Kinda lol.

I just feel like out of 10 artist Wayne should be one but that's PO.

But on a serious tip I just feel like consistency wise, lyrics (although like u said he gets kinda repetitive) but he's got fire one liners and on an entertainment lvl its above normal now a days. Production is good. And he knows how to stay relevant.

That's why I put him up there with the goats.

i'll go with kurt angle

yeah well i'm a genetic freak, and i'm not normal, so you got a 25% at best at beatin me!

and then you add kurt angle to the mix? your chances of winnin drastically go down.

see, the 3-way, at sacrifice, smoa joe has a 33 1/3 chance of winning

but, i got a 66 2/3 chance of winning, cause kurt angle KNOWS he can't beat me, and he's not even gonna try

so, smoa joe, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus my 25 percent chance, and you got 8 1/3 chance of winning at sacrifice

BUT then you take my 75% chance a winnin, if we was to go one on one, and to add 66 2/3 percents, i got a 141 2/3 chance of winnin at sacrifice!

see, moajoe, the number don't lie, and they spell disaster for you at sacrifice

There is a reason your favorite artist doesnt have mainstream transference. No one likes it. Its not that people 'dont get it' but it bleeds the need to be poignant which is annoying when their killer song ratio is below 40% @tagger

off the top, I wouldn't be surprised if Wayne was in the top 20-30 range imo. he makes good jams and has some dope shit for sure, but I just never really fucked with him beyond that. maybe in the 15-20 range, but top 10 is crazy talk

'A Milli' is one of the greatest songs ever made.

Lil Wayne had a peak that would put him in the GOAT conversation. There were a few moments were you didn't know what the fuck he could do in the sheltered realm of mainstream hip hop. He really did do some avante-garde shit, or as avante-garde as his surroundings allowed. He, like, touched the nether regions of your pubes for a second. He was that pop rapper who would also break the fuck off and just become autistic. And people thought it was just radio music. He was actually going off. At his peak I think he had the best delivery ever. And I hate this dude. But when he was really going he could make the corniest one liner sound dope. He's not Top 10, career wise. But that hot moment of a few years he had is imprinted in Hip Hop.

That said, saying he's the GOAT makes you a fucking lame.

So, fuck you. Lame.

i feel like lil wayne was relevant since he said "when i pull up in the expedition they be like uhno uh no uh no he diddnt WAGHHH" lmfao

for real tho bling bling dropped, and wayne has always been near the forefront of hip hop, as far as the mainstream goes.

even as a young dude making corny shit on mannie fresh beats, he was making legit bangers and you could tell he was lyrically ahead of all them other cash money dudes, juve, bg, all of them. juve and bg were just cooler cuz they were grown men thuggin

wayne didnt get the respect from nerds till the carter and shit like that, and he can definately spit. he absolutely throws out corny one liners, but alot of the same people who say that blow eminem when his are infinitely worse, because as cake pointed out waynes delivery and flow makes them acceptable. they keep the structure of his verse going while extending it with some shit. meanwhile eminem will drop a corny one liner and stand behind it fully with adlibs like BOOYAH, like dare i say a cornball.

wayne could spit since day 1, he's only gotten better

i don't even listen to any wayne. i fuck with the block is hot because it was embedded in my early years memories. but as someone who literally listens to no lil wayne for pleasure, i can easily put him in my top 10 because i recognise his skills across the board

when i discuss shit like this on text sites i feel like you guys kind of look at it too one sided. like your goat basketball player would be reggie miller or something cuz he was so proficient at 3's. can he d you up tho? can he cross you and dunk on a center? etc.

uh-oh
11-07-2015, 09:28 AM
also i don't think we view top 10s the same

when someones in my top 10 it encompasses everything. song making, lyricism, relevance, impact etc.

but i feel like you guys hear top 10 and think its strictly lyrically or something. and even then you nerds would probably put buddens over rakim.

basically you aren't informed enough and should just enjoy what you enjoy and rest in knowing i am always right.

He's not top 10 shut up overly opinionated uh oh shit head

He was around for like a year when block is hot dropped then disappeared for like a decade until he started makin squad tapes

Mainstream he didn't get crazy big till carter 2

An he had already fallen off by the time he dropped carter 3

Even back when cashmoney was a thing juve was the famous one. An maybe big tymers for like a week.

He for sure top 20.

Heres a rough top 10

Late 80s early 90s
BDK

Honorables to nas and biggie

2000's
Em
Drake
Wayne

Ironically all the dudes on 'forever'

Idk. As far as mainstream i like where asap is headed. Fuck kendrick, i dont care how good his beats are.

Overall honorable mentions to tech nine. The nigga switches styles so often that it becomes expected and low key repetitive even though he really nice with it. Twista and busta for the same reason.

Budden cool but i would never call him top 10. Im more gucci mane then jeezy. Anyone not on this list is not top 10 ftr.
