can you guys link some good examples of positive and/or negative reviews of something popular? I'm making a lesson on writing reviews, the more examples (or non-examples) I have the better.

For games I like, for the most part, Polygon, GamesRadar, Kotaku, PC Gamer

General PC stuff I like PC magazine, PC World

Otherwise everything is reviewed via video now days

i know you ask for the purpose of "how-to's", but just gave me an idea (which i probably won't do though)

reviews of reviews! - that'd be a sick writing project

other than me, you'd be one of the few who could pull it off.

quaker oats Angry Joe has by far the best reviews I've seen on YouTube. Even if you don't like him as personality his game reviews are very in depth and he never lets his fan boy get the better of him. All of his reviews are 30-40 minutes long.

Pharaohs Army it's for middle school students learning English as their second language, so I doubt I'll go that meta lol
Fart cool thanks, I'll check it out when I get off work tonight. does he use inappropriate language for school?

yes but he also does interviews with big name devs while playing games

for example he just added one with him playing Far Cry Primal while interviewing a UbiSoft dev. those kinds of vids don't have any bad language.
