Fist of legend and Tai chi master are my favorite jet li movies. Drunken master for jackie chan, and whichever movie it was that he had to fight that general and the muay thai guy at the same time in that coal factory or whatever. Bruce lee had all hitters.

I haven't watched that many (probably 10 or so dubbed classics, plus another 20 modern movies), but artistically, Shogun Assassin is remarkable.

lmao, this nigga said rumble in the bronx raised the bar.

cool movie but nothin spectacular, bruh.

It made Tony Jaa really start hittin' niggas in his movies

Jaa's concept of "no strings attached" 100% inspired by Jackie Chan's ability to do all of his stunts largely without the aid of graphics or wire work.

Rumble in the Bronx was unprecedented and took America by storm and wowed more audiences than any martial arts movie before it brah.

Tony Jaa is just adding on to what Jackie Chan already built.

If you wanna talk about story line, acting, or plot...Martial arts movies aren't known for that.

yea, legend of the drunken master (drunken master ii) is a good shout for goat martial arts flick. definitely one of chan's best. he's got a bunch, though. project A is a classic and the police stories are good.

jet li's fist of legend or fong sai yuk films (aka the legend) but really it's fist of legend.

if bruce had made game of death the way he wanted, it would have been his best work, instead it's probably way of the dragon, though i think consensus is enter the dragon.

donnie yen has ip man, flashpoint, SPL and wu xia. people like iron monkey but i didn't enjoy it that much.

tony jaa's is ong bak 1 & 2. 2 is the better flick, both dope. destroying 100 limbs in warrior king was stellar, too.

the raid, undisputed 2/3, hard target/kicboxer and kung fu hustle are all fun films. that's all i can think of unless someone wants to talk about akira kurosawa.
