In Canada most pool halls will have a few snooker tables, but it's certainly not nearly as popular as pool/billiards, especially among younger people. I would imagine it's similar in the US.

Yes, gays in the UK can regularly be heard asking another 'would you mind ever so much if I snooker you after we finish these crumpets?'

I forgot to mention that if the other gay says no, it is legal to kill him.

When I was a kid, my dad used to sell pool tables and every so often we'd get a customer wanting a Snooker table. We had a few of our own to put in pool halls and people would special order them from time to time to go in their homes.

I played some but never really got into it.

Old people used to want those little mini bumper pool tables too, like with obstacles and shit on it.

I've seen some crazy shit.

Snooker really isn't popular at all in the US, I played it like once or twice and it's hard as balls. You won't find snooker at a bar or anything like that, but may find a table or two at a pool hall, but it's not really popular at all.
