Does not affect me really at all, it would a little bit at the moment if i had to set up new distribution/import contracts from europe and outside the eu. Good job i have a materials warehouse with stock for 12months worth of garments. And my stock coming from outside the UK is unaffected. As stability returns the pound will be back up and be the ruling currency once again.

Dudes targeting moderate gains on currency shifts. Think they know what's going on with currency because they scan the wall st journal and yahoo finance. Laughable.
Oil can't hold 50 this is a prime time to get in before it dips to a minimum of 40 within 2 months. Short CHK, make 25% easily. Yes, liquidate all your assets and move them into CHK. Call your brokerage and get green light on margins. You're welcome.

the fact that you think going long on the GBP right now is laughable is laughable.
GBP was damaged by the EUROs existence. only going up from here.

ETFS don't follow the commodities that they partially represent. FXB has more downside then yes it looks good for a 25+ plus dollar bounce just on chart action but it's a mid term play and you're looking at 30 % gains maybe. I'm targeting 1000% gain$$$ but if u wanna grow ur account its a safe play.

given it's my IRA, yes, safe play.
and yes i know they diverge - that's typically the point, a safety net. forex is too volatile for me to fuck around with on a retirement account.

i work in immigration here tbh
i see the benefits in EEA and non-EEA nationals coming here to work
ive noticed people from some EU coutries refusing to sell me horror films and shit (Germany are dope at their horror tbh) just because of this
ive seen a few ppl on public transport here being particularly rude to an eastern european passenger ("What are you smiling at? You're being deported soon" style abuse) which is pretty fucked up given where I live is a largely fucking multi cultural melting pot full of just about every nationality and colour and creed you could think of haha
its the last place on earth i thought id hear that shit tbh
so so far ive only seen the negatives really
it'll take a while to stabilise and re-establish our (new) links i'd imagine
