I've been listening to one called "Get Up On This (https://soundcloud.com/getuponthispod)" pretty religiously for the last few years. It's hosted by a former rapper, Jensen Karp, and his friend, writer/producer Matthew Robinson (wrote "The Invention Of Lying"). They have a guest each week, usually a musician or comedian or actor, and they talk about new things about to break into the mainstream. Sometimes it's rappers, sometimes apps, books, tv shows, etc. Pretty dope podcast though, and they put me up on a lot of dope stuff before they got popular.

I also listen to ItsTheReal's podcast "A Waste Of Time (https://soundcloud.com/awasteoftime)". It's hosted by hip hop sketch comedians Eric and Jeff Rosenthal, and they interview a new hip hop personality each week. They're pretty funny guys, and their interviews are always interesting. They've had episodes with DJ Drama, Mike Posner, Bas, Harry Fraud, Asher Roth, Bodega Bamz, Curren$y, Peter Rosenberg, Jadakiss, Jin, Bun B, Joe Budden, Mac Miller, Just Blaze, Gunplay, Sinbad and more.

Over the last year I've gotten into Joe Budden's podcast, "I'll Name This Podcast Later (https://soundcloud.com/joebuddenpodcast)". Just Joe Budden, Rory and (formerly) Marisa Mendez shooting the shit about hip hop, sports, tv, and more for an hour a week.

Just this last week, I got started listening to "Revisionist History (http://revisionisthistory.com/)". It's hosted by Malcolm Gladwell, and he explores different situations in history where things could have or should have gone differently, and explores how they would have changed the course of history had they played out the alternative way. He has episodes about women in politics, education for the poor, and NBA players free throwing underhanded haha. Pretty dope so far though.

That's about it. I listened to the first season of Serial. But season 2 was boring and I stopped listening a couple weeks in. What podcasts do you stupid fucking idiots listen to?

the cumia show - he puts 4 out a week with decent guests, entertaining enough to keep my sub. mostly comedian guests, but the occasional scientists like bill nye, of neil degrasse tyson to pornstars to other random nonsense. its basically a watered down opie and anthony, but the closest thing to classic opie and anthony there is anymore. opie and jim is horrendous. (opie is a bore, jim norton will probably leave in october and join cumias network, either on anthonys show, or start his own.)

legion of skanks (big jay oakerson, luis j gomez, dave smith). probably the podcast i look forward to the most.

you know what dude - (bobby kelly, usually has 3+ NY comedian guests)

your moms house (tom segura christina paszitzky) has fallen off since they stopped with guests but still pretty solid. #bertisfat

bertcast

tigerbelly (bobby lee)

kill tony - almost forgot about this one, i don't listen to it, i watch the video every tuesday pretty much. tony hinchecliffe/brian redban and guest comedians sit on a panel and open mic'ers come up on stage at the comedy store and do 1 minute of stand up comedy and get critiqued/roasted. if you want to watch one look for the one with big jay and joe derosa.

those are the only ones i listen to with pretty much any guest. cumia gets skipped sometimes. the rest of these are guest specific. i started putting in guest dependent describing them but they all need a good guest for me to give a shit.

rogans - has to be a comedian guest or celeb i give a shit about.
skeptic tank - has to be a good guest
dom irrera - again needs a good guest
ufc unfiltered (jim norton, matt serra)
fighter and the kid - guest dependent
wtf with maron (extremely guest dependent, maybe listen to 1 every few months)
church of whats happening now
punch drunk sports
duncan trussel family hour
doug loves movies
getting doug with high
fitzdog
ku and the gang
drink champs
bone zone

but yea that seems like a ridiculous amount, but again i really only listen if its a good guest. i think there are more as well for the guest dependent portion, i'm subscribed in my podkicker app to most comedy podcasts, and i refresh it daily and scroll through to find guests, those are just the ones im seeing most after scrolling down a ways

i can usually get 8+ hours a day of podcasts to listen to while i'm working. if its a slow week in the podcast world i supplement it with old opie and anthony shows. i've downloaded all of patrice o'neals appearances, louis ck's, bill burr's and even random compilations of rich vos, "chip chipperson", "uncle paul", jim jefferies, etc. basically if it was a good opie and anthony show i probably have it on my hard drive either from torrents or something i ripped from youtube. so if there is only a couple podcasts i give a shit about i'll put one of those on my ipod to fill in til the next day

long ass post over and out

Mike Rap is hilarious.

Simmons is a partial ass Boston fan but I like the fact he doesn't apologize for it.
