Don't even get me started on LB's topicals. Straight up when I didn't run it, all but one tournament, everyone who won was a "popular text battler". That shit never happens on real sites.

Nah we can't find out verses from old sites cause individual threads would never be saved on Internet Time Machine. Just the main pages really. My worst one was losing like 4 verses of my best when NC last went down. I was killing it in that ISTL tournament me and Sign7 ran before he left the site and made Textstars for like a week haha. Luckily I saved almost all of my verses on RR when I first started writing for some random reason so I have like 99% of my shit. I actually caught a few old verses on Brick City just before it went down last year which I was delighted about. Funny how you read an old quick throwaway verse 6 years later and think "This is actually pretty fucking good". Verses you felt so shit about are actually pretty fucking dope in hindsight.

What ever happened to word.smyth btw? Going on NC, HHA and all of those sites from a few years ago he was everywhere, usually in the "loigged on today" bit. Him and B Cel were my first two proper topical wins, both on HHA.
