i can't read that second link without killing my adblocker
but the obamacare shit has me losing any "respect" for lack of a better word i had for him. i figured when he said "he'd repeal and replace it with something "great", something like this could happen. was hoping he'd just nuke it but in reality i figured he wouldn't.
without repealing obamacare he's just another fuckhead in washington i don't give a shit about

The first U turn of many, but tbh I agree with it. There are certain aspects of Obamacare that are great and certain aspects that need to be amended and tweaked, the reform was too big and complicated to be instantly perfect.

it needs to be abolished entirely
healthcare shouldn't be legislated. if you want it, buy it. if not, good for you. this is america.

except that's not how it works. your deadbeat non-insurance holding ass goes to the hospital and gets treatment as is legally and ethically required (you have actually done this w/o insurance and stiffed the hospital, please don't make me dig that story up).
guess who pays for it?
the taxpayers and the people who ponied up for insurance. their rates keep going up as more people abuse the system. eventually, insurance is no longer viable for most people and the industry collapses.
now no healthcare for anyone but the rich?
cool.
or, you know, we could have a single payer system LIKE THE REST OF THE FREE FUCKING WORLD and we all pay into it so that people like you get coverage because the right thing to do is support your fellow human beings and not wish death upon them if they can't afford to pay (while also not fucking ourselves in the asses by letting insurance companies use it as an excuse to keep jacking up rates).

its just free market vs big government
there is no point in arguing it with you guys, its not like the government is one giant incompetent mess that can't govern itself let alone the people its supposed to. social security is fucked. medicare is fucked. we spend more than we take in
but yea lets go ahead and give them more money
its like my homie. he needed money for rent. i gave him money for his rent. he spent it on heroin. i'm not giving him anymore money. sure on paper if i give him money it helps him keep a house over his head. but the chances of him buying food and paying his bills with that money aren't great when he's got too many other options to spend it on.
quit feeding the machine
let it explode
we're all gonna die one day you fucks
He's keeping some shit from Obama care.
The fact that insurance can't deny someone if they had pre existing illnesses and also kids covered under parents insurance till age of 26.
Trump a faggot, tho. The fact that Hilary was up against him, no surprise he won.
Bernie would have swept the nation clean. He got cheated, tho - oh well.
I'm going to continue doing what I do.

Tell that to Cancer patients.
My father was a cancer patient and got incredible care. He survived it because of the NHS, with no bills.

That may be but the NHS is infamous for its history of awful care for Cancer Patients.

Where are you from?
I literally don't know anyone, conservative or liberal, who want to get rid of the NHS, no party in the UK would dare adopt it as a policy. It's a national institution. Not a perfect one, but pretty damn good.
