Your breath control is sort of a tell

I think he does it intentionally. At least that's what it sounds like.

Ru saying my breath control is poor.. ?
I pride myself on my breath control. Where does it sound like its lacking? There are absolutely no punchins on this track. Thats my word

I admit. I went a little long winded more frequently on this one then i usually do. It was a bit mor chalenging than i usually write to be. But considering that ..i dont think anyone here could drop this the same way i did without punching in.

this is cool. Word to whoever said the shit about you're breath control. It's not bad, it's actually good. But when I used to rap I'd change up the flow and double time and slow it back down again a lot so I'd have to go back in and edit out me catching my breath. You left them in. A little clean up would go a long way. Other than that I dug this.

Ya i feel you. The program i use makes it difficult. Ive tried to esit them out. Typically i try not to be close to the mic when i do it.. But the way i had to record this was awkwars. My program has a notebook where i write within the program.. Problem with long verses like this one is i have to scroll as i read and hold the mic so i kind of interfere with myself and it makes it a bit harder to get it out flawlessly. When ud record at my guy dinis crib.. He had a boith and a micstand. Totally different and easier to disguise the breaths. I get where your coming from more now dead man. Guess i was confusing what you meant. That is if indeed your referring to the breaths and nit my ability to belt out long stranda of words before taking a breath. I am guilty of making my breaths apparent a couple times in this obe. Thanks guys

right, but you can still go in and silent out dead space where you are breathing. You don't have to try and turn your head so the mic doesn't pick up you're breathing/catching your breath....just go in during the editing process and silence the sections that have them.

Maybe when i learn a little more ill be better at it. Still low tier producer wise. My editinf leaves much to be desired. Ive tries to edit out or delete the breaths and ive always fucked up my shit. I use garageband. Pretty basix shit. Still learning tbh. Ill look into the shit more tho next go around. See what i can find on utube or watever. I mean ive seen peopple do it on there and have the idea. I just never get the results im looking for when i try

I thought the bars you got raspy on sounded dope. No reason to explain anything.

Only thing I'd say is instead of typing it out, try writing with a pen and pad. Or, practice your verse 100 times, or 100 more times if you already did. That way you don't need anything in front of you. I notice my verses are a million times better when they're memorized.

Nah man. Never happen
I write. And drop. Everytime.
It catches the original emotion intended to be displayed when i write it.

Well.. Guess i cant say everytime. But when i can i do

Reading the comments I thought the breath control or taking breaths was going to be a problem. It wasn't at all.

Very minuscule. At least it wasn't on some Big Pun shit like his verse on the DITC album-version of "Drop It Heavy." (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idXonDz-IkQ)

Nice beat, nice rhymes, no complaints from me. Pce.
