Pros:

- Relatively safe. Not a lot of Cred's running around here
- has lakes
- college town
- traffic isn't too bad
- people love to drink
- great place to raise a white family

Cons:

- winters suck but not so bad
- pretty women go to school here but then leave for greener pastures

Small town in Norway (30k residents)

Pros:
Fresh and salt water 20 minutes from each other, countless great spots for taking a swim or fishing.
Everyone knows each other, or at least got a mutual friend.
Lots of dope graffiti.
Norway's first rock'n'roll pub started here.
Due to the amount of beaches sand volleyball is more popular than basketball in the summer, awesome with friends while getting drunk.
Positive art community whether it's graffiti or art exhibits.
A concrete skatepark got finally built after we had fought for 10 years to get one.

Cons:
Limited sports activities to get into. There's not really a community of people that play basketball etc.
Some local weirdo skaterdude took charge of the whole thing with the plans of the new park so it kind of sucks as he didn't really listen to what people wanted.
Since everyone kind of knows each other it's tough to get away with anything if you fuck up out on town.
Chicks are sort of reserved due to everyone knowing each other.
People get hung up on details.
Too many people are hooked on drugs or struggling mentally as opposed to those that moved out of the city, I think it's because of limited things to do and small town mentality.

It is a fun, relaxing town. But like you said it's best to be here for a week or two and then move on as it can get boring pretty quickly. There's a bunch of black dudes around tho, the Somali community is pretty big but I think you'd do well. They tend to stick for themselves in their own community club for some reason, don't see them that much in the clubs etc. Probably because most of them are Muslim.

Kcmo cops tend to have things to do, whereas Kansas cops don't (con). Relaxed gun laws. Can conceal and carry legally without a permit as long as the gun is registered. Can keep registered firearm in your vehicle as long as it's locked up. You can even shoot someone in your home with hardly any trouble with the "King of the castle" law.

Cons- too close to Kansas. Not enough fine women compared to Minnesota and other north west states.

If there's one thing I learned they're really fucking cool to party with and will help you if you need it in a seconds notice so they're cool in that regard but holy shit they whine about everything, lol. It's pretty expensive to live in Oslo so she had a lot of roommates and quite a few Swedes among her friends as she moved around constantly never settling for somewhere because she always complained about one thing or the other wherever she ended up staying. I can say without lying that from her alone I've fucked in every corner of Oslo due to her moving around every two-three months or so, lmfao. She was a weird one but I digress.

However, the one constant thing that I found for all the Swedes I've met that come to Oslo for work is that they won't stop whining about how terrible Norway is despite coming here, how terrible our selection of groceries are since we have stricter rules on what certain food items may contain etc., how expensive everything is when it comes to transportation etc., how terrible our chocolate taste. On a few occasions I've gotten sick of 15 mins (not exaggerating) of constant complaints and just straight up told them to just move the fuck back if this place isn't habitable enough for them. It may or may not have played a role in how she perceived me, completely worth it tho.
It wasn't just her friends either, I lived in Oslo for a couple of years and when I moved out some cool as bartender Swede took my place and had the same fucking complaints like they didn't know this from before they moved here, and if they did it's only bringing shade on them for not doing research first. They're the worst people to immigrate here imho and of everyone that comes here it should be the easiest people to integrate and come to terms with the differences yet they complain the most, lol.

we have this new bar tho where hardware used to be and its a speakeasy theme

u walk in and its an old timey barber shop and they ask you for the password....then they turn a bookcase on the wall and it opens up to the bar/club

I like it better than Dallas...although I havent been there a good minute. Houston, I like too albeit different reasons. San Antonio is boring for a city that size. Austin has the best women by far out of all. You should visit but there arent alot of black ppl here tbh.
