The WBL is still holding down the title of the best league on the net and this mag will do nothing but prove it to you no matter who you are, where your from or where you‘ve been. If you think your nice, sign up and prove that you got what it takes to hang with some of the very best battlers on the net. We’ve got heads from UPN, RM, RapBattles, 411, and every other site out there. The best of the best are here, many under aliases. But the talent can not be denied at all. Over the past few weeks Richard Corey has been dominating the competition. He is the WBL champion and he has had verse of the week for like 4 weeks in a row. This week was pretty good, some nice matches like Richard Corey vs. ARMZ, shake-zula vs. Vadik, timevirus vs. Lunch Lady and Ace7 vs. Aces Full. We got a lot of new talent in the league, 9th Degree, Ace7, I.Close , Booga, Auspex. All of which I’ve been told are pretty good. If you don’t believe what Ive said, then just check this.

The WBL Presents: On The Line.
The very first WBL Event. This promises to be the best week in WBL history. Countless former champs are comming back for this best of the best event. Many first time match ups between WBL Legends, such as Butler vs. Resin MIC and John Hensley vs. Fracture. every battle is a sure WBL Vault match waiting to happen.
Date: threads for matches will go up July 31 (Sunday)
verses will be due August 4 (Thursday)

^match changes/updates and additions will be added in there.
how this will work:
the wbl will continue as scheduled for the remainder of people not participating in 'On The Line'. those people that are in OTL and are currently in the WBL will move up and down accordingly in the ranks depending on the outcome of your battle. These battles will count on your win/loss record.
if a #6 ranked Allah is in OTL, and a #5 mic booth is not, Booth will simply battle the #7 ranked person for that week in the WBL.
the ranks may be a lil 'off' the following week, but WBL Events like this will only happen every 6 weeks or so.
There will be many 'stipulation' matches (such as pic, mirror, name change, iron man, etc..) expect special stipulations in the Championship and Contendorship battles ... just a warning to whoever may be in those matches at the time this Event is scheduled to take place.
All regular WBL rules will aply, except that all verses will have a MINIMUM 20 LINE length. There is no Max.
this event will have more battles than future WBL Events, simply because it is the first Event. future WBL Events will include ONLY the best of the best currently in the WBL, and probably consist of only around 5-6 battles.

1. Richard Corey (13-6) vs. 2. ARMZ (5-0)
This battle was tight, every voter who voted on it enjoyed it a lot. Resin M-I-C said this was the tightest battle hes seen since hes been on this site, which says a lot. Both were very creative and had a bunch of nice/dope lines. This is what a championship match is suppose to be like. Mad props to both, both got their share of votes. But Richard Corey ended up edging this by just 1 or 2 votes, this was close as fuck and both were winners in my books.
3. shake-zula (16-5) vs. 4. Vadik (5-1)
nice match here, both came swinging, vadik brought his usual flow with witty punches, but shake had some hay makers that made sure shake got the win. Both deserve mad props on giving us a good match. Shake is getting back into form, some of his punches had me on the floor cracking up, I hope shake keeps doing his thing.
5. Scorch (8-3) vs. 6. Dirty Twist (4-3)
this battle wasn’t good, scorch barely won it, even though he ended up winning 8-1,. Neither verse was good, they both had a lot of weak stuff and shit that just wasn’t hitting at all. I think scorch had like one cool line, that was it, and twist had a decent line, so it was a cool line against a decent line, boo @ both, but yea scorch took it.
7. Osric.Epic. (3-0) vs. 8. Ouch (14-6)
Osiric no showed, the first opponent who he got that actually showed and was willing to try and he no showed =/, anyways yea, ouch dropped a no show verse, and got the no show win, but damn I wanted to see this match.
9. Lunch Lady (3-0) vs. 10. timevirus (6-1)
this was close as fuck, at the first few reads I didn’t think so, and although I did vote for time virus, Im leaning towards lunch lady after a couple more reads, yep that’s how close it was, both had some really nice shit, and then some bad stuff… but In the end I felt more of lunch’s even though I love TV’s flow, but this coulda gone either way, props to both.
11. fresh. (3-1) vs. 12. Da sein (7-7)
fresh. No showed and now Da Sein moves up the ranks with yet another no show win, people stop no showing to this guy.
13. Young Philly (3-1) vs. 14. Tony Elbow (4-1)
pretty good match, I think Tony Elbow took this pretty easy though, he had a Doctor phil line that had me cracking up, Philly did good but just not good enough, but had some good/nice lines, tony elbow just had more of them and had the best lines in the battle. Tony Elbow took this.
15. Mercules (3-1) vs. 16. HotDogVendorMan (5-2)
Mercules had the better verse here, Im guessing Hotdog underestimated mercules, but yea merc surprised me, he had a gasoline deaon line that pretty much beat deon’s entire verse by itself, mad props to merc on winning this, anyways yea seems like hotdog didn’t try and mercules did his best, merc got this, kinda easy too, since I really didn’t like anything in hotdog’s verse.
17. name goes here (9-7) vs. 18. asphyxia (2-2)
hmm this was weak, both only really had their openers, then everything else was weak, and I guess it depends on which opener you like much, this could go either way, but in the end asphyxia edged this by a little, but yea this was weak, I expected way better than name, he needs to stop half assing, someone like name should be in the top 10 always, but he stays fucking around. I don’t know.
19. storm-g (2-0) vs. 20. Biter (2-0)
biter had a forest/forced line, which was forced as fuck. That line ended up costing him the match and turned a close battle into a onesided one, since the line really knocked a bunch of points away from his verse, storm g had a solid verse, nothing amazing but enough to get the win.
21. Sound (4-2) vs. 22. realism (3-2)
sound just came better here, had more decent shit, realism had too many lines that didn’t work, and some played shit.. Sound got this pretty easy, nothing else to say, im kinda disappointed though, Ive seen both do way better in the past.
23. Guile (9-7) vs. 24. Sin City (7-8)
Guile dropped a verse dissing twist, since twist beat him last week and guile feels he got robbed due to the voting. But him dissing twist cost him the match, sin city had some personals and guile did too, but guile’s were for twist lol, so they didn’t do shit to sin, sin’s personal did hit guile, so yea, sin took this, actually guile even gave the win to sin while the battle was 0-0, he realized he made a mistake. Sin City got the win
35. Facts Machine (0-1) vs. 36. Jacent (0-1)
jacent took this, weak battle, Jace was just better, harder punches and a better overall verse. Jace is better than this though from what I hear, I hope he starts trying so we can see what hes really made of.
39. Ace7 (0-0) vs. 40. Aces Full (0-0)
this could have gone either way, it was close as hell and the best battle in the bottom 20, this shit was pretty good, Aces surprised a lot of heads with some of his lines, and he came out winning this by a couple of votes, but Ace7 put up a fight and he almost took it, but yea Aces edged this by a bit, but this shit was close as fuck, coulda gone either way.
43. Strike (0-0) vs. 44. I.Close (0-0)
strike didn’t have anything that stood out, just a weak verse really, I mean he had one or two decent lines but nothing more, I.Close caught my attention with a couple of lines, I wasn’t expecting him to be as good as he dropped here.

Over the past few weeks Richard Corey has been dominating the competition. He is the WBL champion and he has had verse of the week for like 4 weeks in a row. This week was pretty good, some nice matches like Richard Corey vs. ARMZ, shake-zula vs. Vadik, timevirus vs. Lunch Lady and Ace7 vs. Aces Full. We got a lot of new talent in the league, 9th Degree, Ace7, I.Close , Booga, Auspex. All of which I’ve been told are pretty good. If you don’t believe what Ive said, then just check this.

The very first WBL Event. This promises to be the best week in WBL history. Countless former champs are comming back for this best of the best event. Many first time match ups between WBL Legends, such as Butler vs. Resin MIC and John Hensley vs. Fracture. every battle is a sure WBL Vault match waiting to happen.

verses will be due August 4 (Thursday)

how this will work:
the wbl will continue as scheduled for the remainder of people not participating in 'On The Line'. those people that are in OTL and are currently in the WBL will move up and down accordingly in the ranks depending on the outcome of your battle. These battles will count on your win/loss record.
if a #6 ranked Allah is in OTL, and a #5 mic booth is not, Booth will simply battle the #7 ranked person for that week in the WBL.
the ranks may be a lil 'off' the following week, but WBL Events like this will only happen every 6 weeks or so.
There will be many 'stipulation' matches (such as pic, mirror, name change, iron man, etc..) expect special stipulations in the Championship and Contendorship battles ... just a warning to whoever may be in those matches at the time this Event is scheduled to take place.
All regular WBL rules will aply, except that all verses will have a MINIMUM 20 LINE length. There is no Max.
this event will have more battles than future WBL Events, simply because it is the first Event. future WBL Events will include ONLY the best of the best currently in the WBL, and probably consist of only around 5-6 battles.

This battle was tight, every voter who voted on it enjoyed it a lot. Resin M-I-C said this was the tightest battle hes seen since hes been on this site, which says a lot. Both were very creative and had a bunch of nice/dope lines. This is what a championship match is suppose to be like. Mad props to both, both got their share of votes. But Richard Corey ended up edging this by just 1 or 2 votes, this was close as fuck and both were winners in my books.
3. shake-zula (16-5) vs. 4. Vadik (5-1)
nice match here, both came swinging, vadik brought his usual flow with witty punches, but shake had some hay makers that made sure shake got the win. Both deserve mad props on giving us a good match. Shake is getting back into form, some of his punches had me on the floor cracking up, I hope shake keeps doing his thing.
5. Scorch (8-3) vs. 6. Dirty Twist (4-3)
this battle wasn’t good, scorch barely won it, even though he ended up winning 8-1,. Neither verse was good, they both had a lot of weak stuff and shit that just wasn’t hitting at all. I think scorch had like one cool line, that was it, and twist had a decent line, so it was a cool line against a decent line, boo @ both, but yea scorch took it.
7. Osric.Epic. (3-0) vs. 8. Ouch (14-6)
Osiric no showed, the first opponent who he got that actually showed and was willing to try and he no showed =/, anyways yea, ouch dropped a no show verse, and got the no show win, but damn I wanted to see this match.
9. Lunch Lady (3-0) vs. 10. timevirus (6-1)
this was close as fuck, at the first few reads I didn’t think so, and although I did vote for time virus, Im leaning towards lunch lady after a couple more reads, yep that’s how close it was, both had some really nice shit, and then some bad stuff… but In the end I felt more of lunch’s even though I love TV’s flow, but this coulda gone either way, props to both.
11. fresh. (3-1) vs. 12. Da sein (7-7)
fresh. No showed and now Da Sein moves up the ranks with yet another no show win, people stop no showing to this guy.
13. Young Philly (3-1) vs. 14. Tony Elbow (4-1)
pretty good match, I think Tony Elbow took this pretty easy though, he had a Doctor phil line that had me cracking up, Philly did good but just not good enough, but had some good/nice lines, tony elbow just had more of them and had the best lines in the battle. Tony Elbow took this.
15. Mercules (3-1) vs. 16. HotDogVendorMan (5-2)
Mercules had the better verse here, Im guessing Hotdog underestimated mercules, but yea merc surprised me, he had a gasoline deaon line that pretty much beat deon’s entire verse by itself, mad props to merc on winning this, anyways yea seems like hotdog didn’t try and mercules did his best, merc got this, kinda easy too, since I really didn’t like anything in hotdog’s verse.

hmm this was weak, both only really had their openers, then everything else was weak, and I guess it depends on which opener you like much, this could go either way, but in the end asphyxia edged this by a little, but yea this was weak, I expected way better than name, he needs to stop half assing, someone like name should be in the top 10 always, but he stays fucking around. I don’t know.
19. storm-g (2-0) vs. 20. Biter (2-0)
biter had a forest/forced line, which was forced as fuck. That line ended up costing him the match and turned a close battle into a onesided one, since the line really knocked a bunch of points away from his verse, storm g had a solid verse, nothing amazing but enough to get the win.
21. Sound (4-2) vs. 22. realism (3-2)
sound just came better here, had more decent shit, realism had too many lines that didn’t work, and some played shit.. Sound got this pretty easy, nothing else to say, im kinda disappointed though, Ive seen both do way better in the past.
23. Guile (9-7) vs. 24. Sin City (7-8)
Guile dropped a verse dissing twist, since twist beat him last week and guile feels he got robbed due to the voting. But him dissing twist cost him the match, sin city had some personals and guile did too, but guile’s were for twist lol, so they didn’t do shit to sin, sin’s personal did hit guile, so yea, sin took this, actually guile even gave the win to sin while the battle was 0-0, he realized he made a mistake. Sin City got the win
35. Facts Machine (0-1) vs. 36. Jacent (0-1)
jacent took this, weak battle, Jace was just better, harder punches and a better overall verse. Jace is better than this though from what I hear, I hope he starts trying so we can see what hes really made of.
39. Ace7 (0-0) vs. 40. Aces Full (0-0)
this could have gone either way, it was close as hell and the best battle in the bottom 20, this shit was pretty good, Aces surprised a lot of heads with some of his lines, and he came out winning this by a couple of votes, but Ace7 put up a fight and he almost took it, but yea Aces edged this by a bit, but this shit was close as fuck, coulda gone either way.

strike didn’t have anything that stood out, just a weak verse really, I mean he had one or two decent lines but nothing more, I.Close caught my attention with a couple of lines, I wasn’t expecting him to be as good as he dropped here.
