bro the western world put a gauze pad and neosporin on a gash above my eye and charged me 1300 dollars. i have a friend living at the riverbed that caught hep c and the western world charges her 1000 dollars per pill, needless to say she has no pills and will die soon. i have a friend that has grand maul seizures that wears a tag around her neck saying don't call the ambulance because the western world has her sitting on 10k of debt because of the rides to the hospital alone. my boy broke his leg and is putting off barber school for 2-3 years because of medical debt.

i had emergency surgery removing teeth from my head because there were fears the infection would spread to my brain. i was hospitalized for 3 days afterwards and obamacare covered none of it and i was saddled with 12k in debt which i recently paid off, but had no intention of paying it off because at the time it happened i didnt see me making more than 20k a year so i said fuck it lol. but word

my pops recently had diverticulitis, had emergency surgery and had a foot of intestines removed and was hospitalized for over a week recovering. while in there they found he had kidney cancer, and a couple months after he was released from the diverticulitis he had a kidney removed, and is now cancer free. he recently had to go in because of anamolies on his lungs. i was sure it was lung cancer because hes smoked 2 packs of kools a day since before i existed, and he worked painting cars, breathing chemicals etc. but turns out its nothing. just random shit growths he's always had. he told me they found them years ago when he was in a car accident and they were nothing then. turns out they're still nothing.

he also had shoulder surgery which left him disabled and forced to retire early

the moral of the story is if any of these things happen to you in india, you are fucked lol

i get that our system is shit, but id rather be saddled with debt than dead outside of hut next to a literal river of shit and death
