Holy fucking shit, Illipsis went in. This might be my fav rap battle of all time so far. Love the match up and nerdy af heavy hitting bars.

Personal preference n all that. I just love the clever nerdy shit. Nothing more than that. If I'm going to be objective about it all I'll definitely agree that it's not the best battle I've seen but I'm not judging battles from that pov unless I'm voting etc. so I found this entertaining af and you could tell both of the battlers were having a good time. I put emphasis on shit like that which adds on to the entertainment value for me personally.

My only problem is that Illipsis was way too quiet and it felt as if he was relying on multis to keep a flow rather than using his flow to emphasize the multis. It sounded like he was reading straight off the paper. I like nerdy shit too, but this performance wasn't that great, imo.

Word, you're on point with what you're saying, I guess he had to read that shit over and over and over and over again to remember it all so it ends up coming out robotic plus I think he's rather new compared to the likes of TheSaurus and Dizaster etc. I bet dude will grow when it comes to delivery in the future, at least I hope so. I checked out a couple of his other matches and in this one he's improved quite a bit. Idk, it might die down on me over time but for now, despite these things, I find it dope af in at least a top 5 personal favs kind of way.
