Cowboys have top ten defense this year and the best running game in the league.
Stamp it, seal it. Done.
Cant wait to watch niners and rams fail and derail the hype train(s)

my only CONCERN is the helmet rule now, they said there has only been 3 instances in the last 2 years or some shit that would warrant the ejection/suspension or whatever, but my only worry is that now that it is an actual rule, a ref might get trigger happy
there are alot of clean hits that get flagged in the efforts of player safety, so even if they only average 1.5 real ejection worthy hits a season (out of 32 teams each playing 16 games) the fact that its a rule means the enforcement of it can be dodgy now
i just don't want the game to get any more soft.
maybe im in the minority, because people seem to be concerned about player safety, but if anything turns me away from the enjoyment of the NFL now, compared to it in its glory days for me, when i enjoyed it the most it was the brutality of it. it meant something when players went over the middle. it meant something when someone got ran over. etc

It would not altogether surprise me to see the rams go 8-8 but I don't see how.
The roster was worse last year w/ a first year coach. Better roster, more coach culture in place. I'm excited.
I was never as high on JG as everyone else but that last couple games last year he looked like a world beater, albeit on a sinking ship. Now they have a fresh season, I see them as the biggest threat to us in the NFC West
I'm just excited to watch the Giants and Eagles suck.
As long as the Patriots or Vikings be there I'm happy...might even become a nicer persona around here, aight that's maybe stretchin' it lol.

In all honesty the Rams don't look too bad man...not sure about 8 & 8, I predict 7 - 9 to be fair...or could totally surprise all & go 10 - 6 or some shit...I'm intrigued.

Remember these names: Rico Gathers, Noah Brown, and Jaylon Smith.
All 3 players will step up and find themselves contributing heavily throughout the year. I'm not going to say they'll throw up big numbers, but i think all 3 of those guys have "break out" years.

Jerry has been relegated to basically a press conference guy. Will McClay and Stephen Jones have been making most of the personnel decisions the last few years.
Honestly, people were saying Aaron’s in for a second ring. And I don’t see why. But Brady’s 70,000 yard and Brees taking 2 NFL records is probably coming

I really wouldn't be too sure about that. For YEARS the trend with the cowboys was over pay for a declining free agent and hope it's deion. That was Jerry's way. Throw the coaching staff to the wind every other year is still there, but the types of players on the field are young and talented. You guys realize that the Cowboys offensive line could be the best in the league and be the YOUNGEST?
Facts, the defense had an improved secondary with a ton of injuries. (11th in passing yards) and they were all rookies. Plus we grabbed Kris Richards to coach them. Add the fact we stuck our free safety the last 3years into his natural position WITH the already improved DBs.
Fact, the Cowboys defensive line has an All Pro and a 1st round pick in his second year. That's just the beginning. We also have a 1st round pick at LB. A second round pick who is in his 3rd year (2nd in terms of playing time, he sat his rookie year) and lastly Sean Lee.
Jerry would never have built this team.
Cowboys will have an 8-8 season, at best..

Hmm . I'm leaning towards 9-7 on that ceiling . 10-6 fringe
But I can def see 8-8 n think that's accurate projection

If you think Dak is an elite quarterback you aren't watching the right football. He's decent but he will never carry a team and he provably won't make it past rookie contract

And what, did he die in the middle of the season? Has he returned from the dead now in 2018? Or did he lose his swagger after teams got more tape built on him? I'd say it's the latter. One thing ur gonna learn in these next 5 years ur so excited about is that Prescott is not and will never be the answer.
Name me a mobile QB who has found consistent success in the NFL not named Russell Wilson. And even Russell Wilson has to have a gameplan built around him and a top 5 defense to help.

Hoping for a 7-9 season with optimism heading into '19-'20.
I was initially so so on the Nagy hire but that KC offense might just work with Trubisky's skill set and the new offensive additions. Keeping Fangio as DC was nice. No matter what, just happy Fox is out.
Allen Robinson has top five WR talent when healthy. Roquan Smith was lauded everywhere as the safest bet outside of Quentin Nelson and Barkley, but no one knows anything about prospects.
It all comes down to Trubisky. He has the livest arm of any Bears QB in my lifetime, and the hope is Nagy plays to his strengths and he gets more comfortable in his second year.
Defense should be solid.
Highly variable team but 7-9 with some upside seems right.
