deadman is a good rhymer, and he does it simply. lars is a good rhymer as well, just on a simpler scale but it's very smooth to read, internals and whatnot.

I dominated multiple sites for a good 5 years or more. Battling is an entirely different mode for me. Usually takes a month or two of me being fully immersed in it to find my stride, and at this point I find battling dreadfully repetitive. Even at the highest levels. I wish more people were skillful at turning things around on their opponent. All the prewriting has become accepted more and more to the point where not prewriting puts you at a tactical disadvantage.

As far an honest conversation on who’s the best? There’s a list and it doesn’t matter much who’s 10th and who’s 1st. The people on that list are good at writing rhymes. That’s about it.

I appreciate the sentiment whether its genuine or not.

The best multisyllabic rhymers since I've been here are the big baby/void/Darth yoda/dull boy consortium, consistently. They're the only writers, in terms of rhyming, where I thought "I couldn't do that if I tried".

Dead man could probably be in that tier, if he wanted his writing to be so rhyming based. The smoothness of his rhyming mixed with the absolute pitch perfect wording/content belies a hidden gear where he forgoes context for technical skill.

Razor blades is a fucking monster at rhyming. I couldn't do that. Neighbor is extremely overrated.

Witty is fine. Copycat is fine. Zygote is fine. Activate Self is the worst 'serious' writer I've ever seen.
