Criticism of Sterling is quite unfair imo he was a constant threat yesterday and throughout the tournament. Defenders want nothing to do with him, they can't cope with his pace. His movement off the ball is brilliant, he makes great runs and he consistently drags defenders out of position to create openings for his teammates. His only real weakness is his composure in front of goal...he panics and makes stupid decisions. He has always been like that even back in his Liverpool days, he's actually improved but still needs about 5 or 6 chances to score one goal. Just not a natural goal scorer, doesn't mean he isn't an important player.

And I'm far from his number one fan considering he left Liverpool for City but he has had a good tournament imo.
