Back in 1972 inside a super secret military installation created by Ronald Regan and Hulk Hogan there was a rap battle between aliens and man for the fate of humanity. They called it Channel Zero and it was read off of notepads through sunglasses.

Probably some more that I can't remember, I haven't even given these any spins in probably well over a decade. I was pumped for his first album and obviously everyone was disappointed. There was a few decent songs on it....obviously it was a let down.

This wasn't the album version, but I wish it was.
I bought his second album and used to listen to it a ton. I loved that shit. But again probably haven't heard any of the songs in 10 years.....they're pretty cringe worthy when I'm playing them listening to them now. Funny that I can still rap the lyrics though. I think I gave up on him during his 3rd album and havent heard a thing since.

Yea. Word. I first heard him off a Teddy Ruxspin he must have owned when he was a kid and recorded joints on. I found it at a thrift store. I was like yo this guy should record some legit tracks. Been thinking he was dope ever since.

Aesop Rock’s latest album called Invisible Kid is probably his best. His sound has gotten much more refined to the point that he’s radio friendly, but still as dope if not better than his Labor Days days.

Poet laureate II a quality track. But he never bounced back after LL reneged on allowing him to be mainstream
As I've said a bunch of times about aesop rock none shall pass probably a top 20 all time album. I didn't care for a lot of his other stuff. Bazooka tooth was cool

Nah I ain't heard the new one. Everyone praised Labor days and I hated it and I wasn't feeling the one with the dead dog on the front either so I stopped actively checking for him.
I spit on your opinion of NSP. I only had a slight dislike of the title track but mostly because of the beat. The bars deserve heavy praise. Rest of the album is a for sure classic.
Canibus from the dj clue era was amazing. I rocked with him up until 3rd album. Then i was like man if u could switch it up thatd be nice. Hes still a beast and poette lauriet is one of my fav tracks in hiphop. But ya. I just cant like i used to. 2000 bc is insane though imo
