This mostly stems from you completely whiffing on the obvious sarcasm of my Grizzly Bears pieces. I'm very petty. But when I read your feed, not just of that particular piece, then read some perfectly constructed verse of yours with great rhymes it jives greatly in my personal estimation of your true level of analysis. And analysis applies more to pieces than feed. There never seems to be a piece you feed that you truly like. Even if a feed is positive, it's in this weird language that makes the reader of feed more interested in it than the piece. You insist upon yourself in feed. The ever present 'keep doing you' is almost condescending.

You didn't feed that piece. We had many a romantic PM about it. The Grizzly Bear thing was just a pettiness that tipped the scales of how I feel about Vulgar feed. You can insinuate some sort of insulting self-centered bias in this conversation if you like. It's wrong. But you're more than welcome to do it.

The problem with the Grizzly Bear piece was that the first time I fed it, it was a slow process before I misclicked, or typed, and bye bye went quality analysis. Weeks later, the retry was a scrawny, malcontent version of the original feed. All in all, I say what I think and try to do it in a courteous manner. I probably used to treat this medium (and feedback especially) in a more orthodox way. Maybe I need a break from rhyming for awhile in order to rejuvenate my mental faculties.

'Keep doing you' was said to me a long time ago by one of my earliest rap teachers, so I decided to adapt it for usage in his honor.

I do feel like I agree with Certain Serpent on the feedback meme sayings, but like I said, they helped me grow as a writer so I think nurturing is an important aspect in harvesting newbies. I used to be really really inspired to leave feedback on pieces. Now it feels more like complacent ritual - hence the reason why I said maybe I do need a break, else I do a disservice to an upcoming Kid Dynamite.
