Think we all agree theres no question his first three albums were his best. But after that opinions go wild. His new album bringing that argument up again... But...

Am I the only one who thought recovery was the best album he did after them first 3?

Doesn't seem many people giving it the love

Which ones the one with 3 am on it, and bagpipes from Baghdad?

Thought that was dope.

Relapse? Rehab? I dunno

Pretty sure it was relapse brother. See I wasn't a fan of that album. Literally here so many conflicting views after his third album jus never see the love for recovery. Genuinely don't get it

Good point on the SRS. I still preferred the album as a whole though.

Agreed 100% with OP.

I think that there were corny lines sprinkled in here and there (like the one mentioned above) but as a whole - that was definitely a better album than Encore or Relapse.

I also think that MMLP2 was better than it was received.

Havnt been able to fully.liaten to an em album since mnm show. Encore was the biggest let down u could imagine. Had no idea at the time that it was the beginning of the end of our beloved slim shady. Still havnt listened to kamikaze. But ya recovery was ok. Relapse was meh save deja vu and my darling from refill package

Recovery is up there, needed the cringy relapse to get back to making good music! Just like he needed the revival backlash to make kamikaze

ppl will think im nuts but the Eminem show has the most replay valve than the others imho!

whats your top five Flow

Yeah I agree.

Or Kamikaze...and that's not just a reactionary comment because it's new. I have thought about it.

I enjoy maybe all Eminem albums. He's a very talented rapper, and has made countless good songs. People need to stop calling him overrated. He's not even close, as he's a very talented Emcee. If not the closes to the best.

Dragons such a piece of shit.

Is infinite including in that first 3? Cus Infinite was dope and maybe his 5th or 6th albums but not top 3. Is he collab with Royce counted and if so I liked MMlP2 more than recovery.

I dont like how he walks you through punchlines. He good with the words but he's not so omniscient to be so condescending.

I think he understands who’s listening (not just rap nerds inclined to catch those plays and references) and has adjusted accordingly. I don’t find it’s done distastefully.

Recovery was worse with that. Now he's on this choppy flow kick that's my biggest gripe with where he's at now.

shut the fuck up you weeaboo jesuit.

the frequency with which dull boy takes any opportunity to fellate eminem but at the same time convince people he isn't (being a reasonably intellectual individual) is kind of disconcerting.

The dynamic you speak of would be a group of people who you feel are overly fond of Eminem?

He has debatably been one of the best lyricists in Hip Hop for over 20 years and just released a controversial and culturally engaging album. It’s not that unusual that he’s been so discussed.

You walked back your comment directly naming me in blowing Eminem every chance I can get. Kind of an odd comment. I wouldn’t suck his dick. I have a lot of respect and adoration for his work.

It’s weird how I thought hip hop’s writing was the best out of other forms, same with poems. But I can write decent bars and decent poems but not decent books.

no. i didn't say 'attempt to convince'. the implicit pliance of people i found disconcerting, if at all. i named you simply as his most enthusiastic groupie, but like, you do so in a fairly charismatic way. so focus on the positive bit even if i did unseriously call you a faggot.

it's ok if a bevy of (white) people hail eminem as the next messianic figure for humanity, let alone hip hop. stranger (re: stupider) things have happened. do happen.
