Bronson is barely even white lol, he is in the front of rotation tho although I wasn't the biggest fan of his last shit. that Blue Chips 2/Mr Wonderful vibe is best imo
Haven’t heard it, that feminine album put off to Mac

Broson is a poor man ghostface
Mac was trash....but rest in peace I hate he passed away....
Eminem's mmlp is the goat white rap album that could possibly be made
honestly if u think mac was trash or even not that dope u prolly havent listened much lately
i thought he was super average for a long time but fr the last few years he's been very good. and very authentic. which i don't say about any white rapper. you don't make music with earl, .paak, robert glasper, thundercat, etc. if you're not dope.
bronson definitely the sickest for just bars but yea he's cut from a different cloth

Eminem head over hills better than any other white rapper...
Even though Eminem albums for the most part been trash since the Eminem show...kamikaze is incredible by the way....
But when Eminem on his shit he is light years ahead of any white rapper....hell when on his shit he is better than any rapper not named nasir

yea im just here to give another vote to bronson
but its biased because im a fan of all his endeavors collectively, his music might be what i like least about him. but he makes some dope tracks amidst a bunch of ok shit.
mac miller on the other hand never got me outside his first single the kool aid and frozen pizza shit. ive heard great things about his last album, but i slept on it while he was alive and don't want to disrespect the dead by paying attention to it solely because he died. if that makes any sense. i was going to sleep on it. so i should continue to out of respect.

I heard kendrick vibes skimming through swimming and when you put it in the context that he was a few drug induced comas away from death its enthralling. Lyric wise he was always smooth and as a musician he was talented. His experimentation on this cd is really something. Legit transcends 'white rapper' stereotype.

Quoting Rogan over ominous music for non-ironic effect undercuts the whole thing for me. He's too much of a silly fuck. The verse is good, enjoyed him repeating "I need alcohol to sleep" 6x, added to the honest feeling he was going for. Best part of the song. He tried to fit too many syllables in lines too often. Joe Rogan. 6.1/10 would listen to with Elon Musk.

I feel the subject matter on the Rogan monologue sets a good tone for what follows. If you remove what you know about his personality and just take these snippets as they are.
The brutal honesty in the emcee’s writing and his ability to articulate it is unique. It doesn’t sound contrived.
The production of both this dude’s albums is incredible, for me. It reminds me of El-P a bit, but more industrial/metal/80s techno influenced. Definitely some Kavinsky. It’s a little uncomfortable, and that works with his content.

I agree that the content of the speech is what's relevant to the song, and before I had time to realize exactly who was speaking I was digging it. For the song it's fine but I think it reflects poorly on the artist's taste to use such a sample, and puts me in a position of presuming a lower level of quality of thought incoming.
Running through that song's album. "I Don't Care" is dope as all hell.
I’ll probably get hate but imo TPS are among the best white rappers ever

I think it’s somewhat of an acquired taste, or that it takes some getting used to for it to not sound ‘wrong’ because of what you’re accustomed to hearing. The volume of the instrumental sometimes gets too loud, and he’s saying emotionally complex things rapidly, which makes it difficult to interpret.
Definitely different.

Cubbiebear. Eyedea. Aesop Rock. Wax. Rugged Man. Copywrite. Slug. Apathy. El-P. Cage.
Aes, Cage, and Eyedea are good mentions. i still check out the Eyedea and Slug Wake Up Show freestyles every so often. shit's from like 10 years ago, but it's pretty awesome to hear them go back and forth in the latter half. beats the hell out of the written freestyles everyone spits these days. admittedly, i only like a select few tracks from Cage and Eyedea. haven't heard too much from Cage and i just prefer to listen to Eyedea's freestyles.
one name yet to be mentioned: Sadistik. i know a few people around here have to know of him, but i imagine there's a good portion who may not. easily the best white rapper, bar none (but he's got bars, son). he's one of the best rappers overall imo. severely underrated. his first EP and first three albums are top tier, no hyperbole. his raps are poetry in motion because - well - he's a phenomenal poet, an exceptional wordsmith, and, thus, an amazing rapper.
honorable mention for his passionate, optimistic freestyles: Kristoff Krane.
I just can't get into a lot of these white guys who have no feeling in their shit..that generic dull no bop in they flow shit is wack to me...even when they got bars
i hear ya. Sadistik might change your perspective on that front. everything from his first EP and first three albums are jam-packed with raw emotion. they're full of topnotch metaphorical/allegorical lyricism (but not over-the-top metaphors like Aes Rock for example) fused with ardent emotions. even if someone didn't really vibe with his words (not sure how that's possible, but we all have our preferences), they'd still feel the emotions he's conveying. otherwise, that person is dead tbh.
i can drop some links if anyone's interested.
