This was a cool battle. I was a bit stingy with quotes but nothing was bad. Was just feeling score a bit more. JD, Bledsoe was a bit too old/obscure and the throw away score could’ve been dope but I didn't like the flip. Nice battle tho.

(I know he’s John Daly is a golfer but I don’t watch golf (except tiger lol) so I’m using context clues, but I’m pretty sure I’m missing the reference. For what it’s worth, it seems pretty good. The John Daly is a good name flip. I see the tie ins, but I been googling because I’m sure there’s a current event reference here but I don’t get it. I liked it even going I’m sure I’m not completely catching it)

(I got this one missing. The flip is really basic. You set up the punch a bit with the “fearing the slug” but you needed more imagery to really make this work. Also, won’t look at the heat/won’t look at the sun is a bit reachy to me. I like where you were going, I think you coulda made it work, but I don’t think you executed it as best as you could)

(I’m missing the double meaning for pressing Zeros. What sport is that for? Context clues helped me with this one though. I like the concept. Scorekeeper name flip is pretty good. This is landed. Prob even better if I fully understood the reference)

(So I’ve heard Bledsoe/bled so flips before (with Eric Bledsoe the b-ball player) so that took away from the impact to me - didn’t feel fresh. It has some choppy wording issues. You woulda needed to set this one up better and clean up the wording for it to really land. This was just okay to me at best)

(Lol funny concept. You shoulda did a better flip with the “Downy” because I like where you were going. The “tortures you watching me pour it” part isn’t that good to me because that’s not really going to torture someone with downs unless you really paint that picture in the set up. This was okay)


This was a close battle to me. I think JD had the LOTB with the Magcast line but I think Score was more consistent. Score was landing jabs throughout and landed more punches even though JD was the heavier puncher. I missed a few bars from both guys so hopefully that didn’t mess up my vote too much. Overall, I got Score slightly edging this one.
