How was that not in violation of data protection?

How was that not in violation of data protection?

It's a way for them (The Government) to link to each and every cell phone's ping to keep track of us.

Dirty.

lol at data protection

Which we agree to by accepting the download an giving the permissions. led to believe you guys can't even remove this function from your phone's? You didn't opt in or whatever?

Quite a clever idea though tbf. But feels wrong

which function......the presidential alert system>?

its essentially a warning mechanism for natural disasters and national threats

they have said it is illegal for the president to use it to send his own messages

this is the least of our concerns if we are talking about invasion of privacy in America tbc

lol yah grabbed that account quickly sheesh lol

an yea I guess my previous post expresses my feelings on that though.......they already had all that access anyways

its not good but its also not new

didn't that guy rape and piss on women and poison his neighbors dog tho LOL

Amen
10-04-2018, 09:48 AM
Difference, tho.

It's not a privacy violation for the apps because you grant permission as you DL it. Then get a pop up asking for access to w/e it is the app needs, contacts, photo gall, mic and/or camera.

We are forced in this matter. There is no message asking for our permission to allow it.

IT IS WHAT IT IS.

yea I understand all of that but homeland security has had all of this access for years

as far as the definition of privacy violation that's a fine line....a lot of the built in apps and hardware in our laptops and desktop computers essentially force you into consent when you purchase the product or be cut off from modern civilization without access to the internet

even the apps that pop up and ask u for consent......what choice do we really have? depending on the app.....and most are pretty irrelevant....but some are important....either u consent or you cant use it....

like I said our right to privacy was violated long before this

Its the same access they had with amber alerts. This is literally for things like impending nuclear or terrorist attacks.
