View Full Version : Drew Brees
He has the single season passer rating record so far this season. He only has 2 picks, he’s completing 76% of his passes, and he’s being pretty damn accurate.
Greatest QB season ever?

Lol did you do any research before posting this thread?
Plus the season isn't over so it's hard to compare to Rodgers in '11, Warner '99, Marino....the list goes on... I mean bro Brees is good no doubt, no way to compare best QB season at this point....

Actually
Case Keenum & Matt McGloin’s careers >>> Brees and Brady’s careers
I would even take Josh McCown over Peyton Manning

2010 Josh Freeman > 2018 Drew Brees
I mean dude look up the stats, Drew Brees has more TDs this season than freeman had all year....
You like the guy that thinks he knows about football because you grew up watching it with your dad...do some research fag...

True but, Aaron’s 2011 season was only 15 games, and he didn’t have many attempts as Tom Brady in 2007 or Peyton in 2013. In brees’ last like 4 games his passer rating is like 140 and there’s no sign of slowing, so he might get better yet.
Whilst we’re on the subject of good seasons. Patrick Mahomes, his first starting season, throws a TD every like 10 passes. 40 total TDs 11 games. Pretty insane.

Flacco's greatness is on the bench LMAO great QBs never sit on the bench

flacco is god in the playoffs. undefeated at home, yet rarely has that luxury, and owns the best road playoff record of any qb. regularly outduels brady, usually in new england, and put up the best postseason of any qb in the history of the nfl
but word he has a hip injury and is on the bench now, during the regular season when nothing matters. espescially for the ravens.
they only need to win enough for the berth. no one wants to see january joey on their schedule

I honestly don't understand how Flacco has done what he's done - and it goes beyond competent with good weapons around him - but he's done it

Flacco isn't even in the top 5 out of his peer QBs. I'd be surprised if he was a hall of famer if you look at his resume next to the sure fire HoFers

who are his peers?
also i brought him up in reference to the post season, wondering if brees will keep balling like he is when it matters.
when talking about hof'ers they will definitely look down on flacco for pedestrian regular season stats for sure. bumass phillip rivers will probably be looked at more favorably lmao. but i don't think he'll make it and wouldn't argue that.
but it just goes to show how useless regular season stats are. flaccos already in with the team accolades of winning the super bowl and has a super bowl mvp plaque and jersey in the HOF. (which is down the street from me). but i don't think he gets a bust with his body of work at present. he still has 5-10 years left in him THO. espescially with how soft the nfl is getting

Bro if Lamar keeps winning, Flacco bout to be bagging groceries. No one gets paid 20 mil to sit on the bench, I'd cut his ass so fast the city of Baltimore would weep.
5-10 years LMAO maybe 5, probably 1

Flacco hasn’t retired? Has Baltimore made playoffs since Ray Lewis left? Forgot they were even a team still.

You are acting like teams have competent qbs. Im not saying flacco has 5-10 in baltimore btw. If he and harbaugh dont make playoffs i think they clean house on both of them
