Some of those lines sound more on beat in the Dre headphones. Some are just poorly edited. Some I just fucked up saying. I'm going to keep messing with it I just like where its headed.
Lol sounding on beat in dre headphones.

I freestyle 4-5 times a day an I have zero ambitions to record .... my shit be on beat tho
wouldn't even honestly worry about writing right now for u at this stage ....just get on a beat as often as u can and work on making the words hit the drums

Could be latency with the recording itself but it doesn't sound like it anymore
I used to record directly into completed tracks with a shitty device hooking my instruments to computer. At its worst it was like half a beat late n I had to play that far ahead to make it work
Never again

Yeah some of the off beat-ness was latency. See this I why I come to you guys first.

Dont let them get you down. Like i said. Find a slower less obnoxious beat and try again. I think you could do much better

Your issue, in my opinion, is mostly your voice/vocal tone/lack of energy. You don’t sound comfortable. At about 20 seconds you cut in and every word is rushed.
Can you hear it and aren’t sure what to do about it, or do you not hear what sounds bad about your delivery?

Some lines were written with too many syllables. Instead of fixing that by rewriting I will physically cut it out and move words around in the program till it sounds as natural as I can make it.
Another hazard of moving stuff around too much is the timing sounds way off in sections, making it sound like the words are said too soon or too late.

Oh yeah I see what your saying @20 seconds. Definitely the weakest section. I haven't figured out how I want to approach that section yet. I figured I would listen to it a bunch and it would just come to me

Yeah man I'm not proud of it but it's easier then re recording a bunch of times after I find out it's not going to fit as is

Going to be hard to ever make music people find appealing if you can’t flow over a beat. I mean, I’ve indulged in experimental hip hop, but there’s a reason rapping sticks a fairly rigid formula of requiring its participants to speak rhythmically with the beat.
It’s difficult for those who primarily write to jump into recording because the thought process is different. You can merge the two, but it takes some growing pains.
Did you write to this beat specifically? I always found writing to beats challenging. It’s easier to just rap whatever over it to find your footing. Then start to think about what you want to say within that rhythm.
If you enjoy it then keep at it.

this is a really bad habit, especially at your stage, and will stifle growth. only use it when your flow is close and you think your delivery was so genuine and magical that its got to be the take.
u have full control over what you're recording my guy, so as soon as u realize its not going to fit, tweak the writing, or cut it and re-write.
quick fix, just freestyle on the beat from the go. find a flow or approach that vibes to you, listen back, and write the flow to match it.

Yo, how long you been spitting on the mic? I though this was a decent attempt but when the cadence required a flip, you tripped but yet you picked yourself back up. Not bad, but not polished. I am sure if you kept at it you would dominate this track.
