The fiance and I were talking about your islands, among other places, as possible honeymoon spots. Think it would be a good place for a trip?

My friend and his wife went to Scotland for theirs, he said it's an amazing place filled with really old shit. He is of Scottish heritage, which lends into the decision to go, but he said he recommends it if people run out of original ideas.

He talked of this prison he visited that was almost a thousand years old, where the revolution started.

Amazing. If you do go in the winter we have renown hot springs.

iceland is disgustingly expensive, almost prohibitively, but most of the scandinavian countries are gorgeous.

ive knocked around ireland a bit, mainly the north. if you like whisky and windy nature (coastal paths and the causeway) it is recommended.

scotland is dope, in the right places. i spent a week in a cabin in loch lomond - there is a shit load of hiking to do if youre into that (it is the reason i went). edinburgh is dope if you want to see a city, but i prefer small towns like oban. stay away from glasgow.

I highly recommend Ireland but I am biased. It is exceptionally beautiful in many places, the west coast (specifically Galway) has some of the most breathtaking scenery you are ever likely to see.

Scotland is great too though, Edinburgh is a wonderful city, you can feel the history running through it. As Eng alluded to, Glasgow is a cesspit, avoid at all costs.

Even this guy who hates all walks of life, loves the Land of ice.

Iceland may be more of an aspirational trip for us. tbh we're not rolling in it rn so having nature/old shit to look at is definitely a priority. appreciate the tips guys
