only danish on this end for scandinavia

23andme updated after last year with all the new data i guess. somehow my biggest chunk is now french/german. like 33 percent. but they don't have those HAPLOgroups or whatever broken down by specific region yet. my 20ish percent irish/english is basically all irish around dublin. my 15 percent italian is from campania and sicily. but word its strange because i have close ancestors with the irish and italian, but NOT with the french/german. so basically im guessing some barbarian forest peoples found there way to italy and ireland respectively and im the product of their half breeds

but word i have nothing else for this thread so i figured i'd throw that out. also more people should do 23andme. do it dadcees

my /close/ ancestors (e.g. through the early 1800s) are all english/irish/german/russian with the exception of the entire side of my parental grandmother's as she was adopted in the 30s and no information is known. she never found anything either.
