someone gimme the easiest way to convert a kindle ebook to a pdf?

im trying to read a kindle ebook on my work desktop.....I cant download any programs or apps on my work computer......so I need to convert the ebook to a pdf so I can email it to myself and read it on desktop

I googled and seen ads for tons of converter apps .... an it was exhausting.....just hoping someone already did all the run around an can gimme the simple method to doing this

How do I send a kindle book? just email it to you? I feel like amazon purposefully makes these things so fucking difficult to maneuver

Yea you probably need the actual ebook. I remember getting kindle for desktop and downloading my books to it, i think i was trying to download books i didnt have tho and open them with kindle? I forget. I remember it being a nightmare. I can look into it when i get home

But if its something you rented im sure they got copy protections in place, cuz you could just copy it to pdf and own it
