Feature ArtistAnderson Paak
Anderson Paak (Born Brandon Paak Anderson) is a previous "feature artist" and I believe may be my first ever repeat. Paak, born in Oxnard California, which is where I grew up for a few years, has more of a slow vibe to him. In where, if you allow him to take you on his trip you'll actually feel the old school MoTown essence laced throughout his jazz/blues style. His latest album titled "Ventura", (which in lies the real reason I chose him for my feature artist, Ventura is the town i currently reside) has a feature from André friggin 3000 as well as Smokey Robinson. I mean, honestly, if you enjoy music aside from the shoot em up bang bang, this may be for you. But, the emotionality or soft feel to his newer music I will admitt is not for everyone let alone the likes of you nasty fucks. However, talent deserves to be recognized, and if Anderson and I grew up around the same areas in time and he is more succesful than I, well then I feel like I have the obligation to get his name out there just a bit more.

Innovator vs Diablo
RESULTS: 3-0 Diablo
This battle swayed heavily on the poetic element of fine vocab and delivery of the words within the structure. Personally i think it was very close with how both verses flowed into each other but still had their own original concept kept in reserve. Diablo come across with bright bitting almost tip of his pen with colour pastel powders to cushion it, where as Innovator was more balancing on palm - even though saying that you def could not see any fingerprints in both from the press. One with family turmoil and one with a political stance, i believe what made the difference in this battle was the personal emotion that Diablo just edged out to real be captured by the piece. Their pieces where about a photo within a photo and both came across with a remarkable paradox of how characters and point twists can be used to capture the environment. it was an excellent battle, one worth checking out.
Cereal vs Brokenhal0
RESULTS 2-1 Cereal
This match was held out by a ballerina with an umbrella, Cereal took a first person approach to capture the character as an i and reveal the backstory slowly, where as Brokenhal0 showed a 3rd person break down of what their character represents. In the end this to also come down to emotion but was highly driven by structure that swayed the last vote. Brokenhal0 was based on name depiction and character revelation driven by a lot of anger and hate where as Cereal did family and belief. It was a close match and both cats took it to the wire.

Cereal 1-0 vs Diablo 1-0
Friend or Foe, both have known each other for about ten year's running around in the world of hiphop, so this will be an epic battle. Already there is an added stipulation of time restriction which both plan on fulfilling. With an image of Hitler this week this could be anyones game. Cereal known for his abstract style and Diablo for his very tightly constructed structure and vocab this could go either way.
Suthaveli 0-0 vs Sharp 0-0
With the activity Sharp has been putting in, they do seem to be the favourite to take this battle, but Suthaveli eagerness was definitely shown early on. This will be an interesting battle since Sharp has been seen active for a hot minute now and Suthaveli only just around but who knows they could be an alias and a real upset could wash over. With an image of Jaws this week it will be good to see what these artist's can bring.
Adonis 0-1 vs Innovator 0-1
Both veteran's in written format and both with enough edge in their stance to have a really big thrown down this week. Innovator just coming in from a hurdle last week and Adonis juggling it is going to be quite the match. I am for one looking forward to it. Personally i think Adonis has the edge in vocab but Innovator has the edge on structure. There still is a lot of catagories which this could lean either way creativity/emotion etc. Definitely looking forward to it.

1: As a hiphop artist how many, if any live performances have you done..
I did one performance in 2009 in NY. I wasn’t the lead. I was with a group and I was a part of 3 songs. The whole set was much longer but that’s all I was a part of.
2: Who was the most famous person you met in your travels..
I was on the set of the filming of Attack on Pelham 123 when they filmed in Grand Central Station in NYC. I met Denzel Washington and John Travolta. Travolta is the man. That movie was dope if you haven’t seen it.
3: What is your favourite line rhyme scheme, ie most often would lean towards using..
I love multisyllable rhyming. As you’ve read in my work I don’t usually stray from a 4 syllable end rhyme set mixed with inner bar rhyming. When I do audio pieces I’m a little more conservative so I can maintain a decent flow.
4: Who is your favourite rapper aswell as favourite text rapper..
My favorite rapper, if we’re working main stream, would be Eminem. I’ve been a fan since I was a child. There are songs that I absolutely hate from him, but the good out worth’s the bad and I can honestly say that I like about 87.4% of his work. Text? Man. This is tougher. As of late, I got into Self Activate a lot. His work is amazing. Imagery, rhyme scheme, all mixed into a poetic feel that can be read as spoken word or with a rhythm. That guy is amazing. Back in the day I was a big follower of Peril Eyes. That dude was a poet. Not to short change guys like Jowelz, Vern Acular, Awedishin/Mac Flow, and of course: InsaneVillain. IV taught me how to write in the RSTL.
5: Have you ever been on a radio station..
Not for music but I have been on the radio and TV for work purposes.
6: What is your favourite instrument if you have one..
I do not have one. I used to play the trumpet in Jr. High School but I don’t really have a favorite. I would like to learn piano though.

I live in CT, US of A baby! Originally from NY. CT sucks.

I don’t have one favorite song. But I can’t stop playing “The Ringer” by Eminem or “Trauma” by Meek Mill
