Quoted for emphasis
You are correct. He will not be removed by the Senate & will be free to run in the next election
Yack
Oh and yup.
Democrats are stupid, if they think this will help them.
Dems are disgraceful for this

the house voted to impeach him witty. now it will go to a vote in the senate, where it will fail.
this entire process is more of an embarrassment to this nation then the trump presidency itself. all they are doing is setting a terrible precedent which can be abused in the future
i want to say trump has done nothing impeachable, but if they want to impeach him why not do it for war crimes, funding and remaining allied to the saudis as they wage a genocidal war in yemen for example. granted they would never do that because obama and bush (by far) were much bigger war criminals. but at least there is a crime there.
so yea, basically this is just step 1 of impeachment, now it goes to the senate, where they need a 2/3 majority for impeachment. it will never happen. this is a partisan issue, and its dangerous and misguided because the dems have trump derangement syndrome.

Trump finally won a popular vote
uh-oh

he has been impeached, but impeachment isn't removal from office. its basically a vote on if their should be a trial to vote on removing him from office
when that trial fails, nothing will have changed. he still runs in 2020, he never leaves office etc.
its just a waste of time and money, and a shitshow by the left tbh. they are accomplishing the opposite of what they want, which leads me into conspiracy land and wondering why the deep state wants trump another 4 years

Republicans impeached Bill Clinton for having consensual sex with a woman who wasn’t his wife, which is literally nobody’s business but Bill’s and Hilary’s. Saying that this is some new unprecedented standard set by democrats when trump actually abused his position as president to coerce a foreign country for political gain is horseshit
That said, it won’t pass the senate and it’s a waste of time. Will most likely make trump more re-electable when he’s exonerated

trump didn't coerce the leader of another country for political gain
bill clinton was impeached for lying under oath

Um. Yes he did. That's why we're here.
uh-oh really really on point in here.
as far as his last comment tho i assume he means that trump attempted to coerce the leader of another country for political gain, but failed.
whereas hillary and the dems successfully paid for largely inaccurate dirt 5 months before the election and gave it to the fbi as the centerpiece to obtain the fisa warrant to spy on trumps campaign through Carter Page, a guy they told the public was a russian asset for 2 years while knowing he was actually CIA.
all the FBI "mistakes" regarding the fisa courts should really be the biggest conversation here as they would clearly do this again in the future to oust whoever, my concern being a potential actual leftist president.
Senate shutting this down. He probably wont get re elected is worst case scenario tbr

Isn’t impeachment just the accusation and investigation, not the actual trial or decision?

Congress is made up of 2 separate entities: the house and the senate. The only thing the house (which is mostly democrats at the moment) has the power to do is send the president to trial (impeachment). It is similar to an indictment, nothing more. Once they impeach the president, the senate conducts the actual trial. Right now, the senate is mostly republicans. After the trial, 2/3rds of them will need to vote to remove Trump from office in order for him to actually be removed, they won't.
The senate has already said they will wait until after New Years before they do anything. You can resume not caring about this subject until it's in headlines again in about a month

Dems are disgraceful for this
here in the heart of america, this is the general attitude. usually prefaced with some kinda "i'm not even a big trump fan"
only chance in hell dems have to win is to cheat in 2020 with all their illegals and voter fraud
hey knucklehead republican governors just purged 500k+ voters over the past week

The rate of voter fraud is actually microscopic. But what are facts?
