I pay less in taxes, and I don't get fined for not having health insurance

I work in a body shop and were busier but the only thing I can attribute directly to trump is our timken steel contracts. We do their trucks and they expanded alot so instead of 1 truck a week we've been doing 2-3.

Other than that. Shit's exactly the same

Donald Trump's presidency springs from greed? That's what I say most of the democratic party thinks.

How he effects us is what matters, what do you think?

He effects us greatly with influence and karma.

I think he effected me greatly; yet is a well said president.

Al-though he's one of the low tier presidents; he's good.

Thanks.

No, people shouldn't shut the fuck up. And the answer to your question has my life changed since trump got elected... no. It wouldn't have made any difference anyway, based on my lifestyle. But I do think he lowered the bar as far as presidency. I know now every president has been perfect or awesome, but trump is a douche.

I can't and don't vote because of a felony. But if I could I'd just throw away my vote on bernie sanders or ralph nader rather than give it to trump.

This is where I usually chime in and say you’re all fucking idiots and how I’m glad that this site isn’t a good representation of America. But nah, I think it pretty much is and America is THAT fucking stupid and therefore deserves everything that happens to them. If you’re an American, it affects you. Whether you’re too dumb to see how or not.

On a more non cancerous note, everything that uh oh said + the biggest pay raise for the military in decades that goes into effect this month.

Aside from that, I can’t think of anything else that personally.

I came in thread to say I pay less in taxes. Not even gonna front the topic of trump with black people just pisses me off. Everyone hates trump, which I understand I personally wouldn’t say I hate him but I definitely don’t like him. But this is the kicker, what old white person is actually likable?

Whenever I try to put people on to the tax shit they never listen. All because it’s Donald trump. That’s a feminine trait to me to use your emotions to make business decisions

Na when I say I pay less I’m talking about tax season bro, not what’s being taken out of my paycheck. Why would any adult speaking on taxes talk about what’s being taking out of their paycheck vs. what’s owed or refunded at the end of year?

That’s literally what 95% of people who tell me they pay less in taxes because of trump use as a benchmark lol

He got elected more so because the democrats didn’t have a good candidate.people did not want to vote for Hillary.

The same thing is going to happen this year if Bernie isn’t the front runner then no Democrats are going to show up to vote

Damn well, maybe you should use the month of January to plan your business out to legally comply with some of the tax breaks being offered. I am not a trump supporter by the way. I’m simply a black man who benefited from some of the tax breaks and deductions that were offered recently. And the percentage of what you owe from the start Has been cut in half compared to 2017

Ok I’m going to say this one more time for the people in the back:

When the Munster, or any business minded adult for that matter, speaks on owing less taxes, we are speaking primarily on the tax bill which is created when you file taxes for the previous year.

And yes from check to check it probably is lower, do you know why? Because the tax percentage was cut in half from 2017 to 2018.

If you “owe more this year” it is more than likely because the only thing you did was use donations

I know I troll a lot on this website. Listen, I am not trolling about taxes right now. If you are having problems figuring things out then you need to rework your business plans . Do not get mad at me and make up some hypothetically rape scenario that literally has never occurred either in trolling or real life just because I told you my taxes are lower

~RustyGunZ~
01-14-2020, 09:44 AM
Donations? What?

And I made it pretty clear that is what Trump supporters say, and what I’ve noticed those people come back annoyed they got less back. It was restructured to look like you got less taken out but it’s mostly the same, with a lot of deductions for average Americans being taken away such as options for students, parents, remote workers and SMALL business owners

the Munster
01-14-2020, 09:47 AM
So yes a lot of people are probably speaking on paycheck to paycheck. Because for most people, the amount you owe from week to week vs. what you owe at the end of the tax year go hand and hand. So if you owe half of what you did for the full year in taxes, then obviously what you owe from week to week will be lowered as well. Are the slow people able to follow along with this post?

the Munster
01-14-2020, 09:49 AM
So if you owe half of what you owebefore you even begin to apply deductions and breaks and you end up owing more, then wouldn’t that tell you something about how you’re doing things?

What I’m saying is, Johnny Tubesocks at the local 135-L had 50 bucks taken out of his paycheck instead of 70 and called Trump a savior and then got 3k less in deductions at the end of the year for his 3 kids and probably blamed it on Obamacare

This makes more sense. Is there a site that breaks down what exactly changed?

I was confused by people claiming to owe more when it seemed straight forward to me, the percentage itself went down. So I was taxed less each check by my employer and basically had the same return just 100ish more. So when people claimed they were paying more I was like wtf? Redo your taxes dummy you did em wrong. But I'm a single filer who gets no deductions etc just the basic straight across the board shit.

Also why it seemed goofy because the argument is always presented as, you get more on your checks but owe more at the end. Like the percent didn't change just the method of collecting. But what you guys are saying is a bunch of deductions and loopholes were eliminated?

~RustyGunZ~
01-14-2020, 12:23 PM
Yes. People argue with me their taxes are less because of their paycheck to paycheck change. Less and less argue with me as they get more tax returns under trump. But yeah you wouldn’t see any difference from the changes in deductions.

80% of the tax cut benefits went to the top.

on average the top 1% saved $50,000 in taxes. by comparison, the bottom 80% of america saved an average of $600, which breaks down to ~$12 per weekly paycheck.

fortune 500 companies paid an effective tax rate of 11% on average

this was the first time the upper class paid a lower effective tax rate than the middle class in american history

by comparison, when the U.S. had the strongest middle class in the world, the rich paid a way higher effective tax rate than the middle class, obviously

Amazon, Chevron, FedEx, IBM, General Motors, Netflix, and at least 85 other giant corporations paid zero dollars in taxes.

over half of the tax cuts aimed at "helping small businesses" went to multi million dollar companies. actual small businesses(under $200k) saw less than a quarter of the benefits.

the tax cut ballooned the deficit, giving people like joe biden and paul ryan the justification to cut medicare and social security, which some know was the plan anyways

uh-oh if you were taxed less each check and ended up with a bigger refund, it's not because you were taxed less. that's the opposite of how it works, in general

uh-oh
01-14-2020, 01:19 PM
I was "taxed" less in the sense I got more of what I made/less taken out. I got more back because they still taxed me more on those checks than necessary. So while I saw an increase on my checks I also so one tax time, but 100 is basically nothing come tax time. So they didn't over tax me much each check

boof
01-14-2020, 01:31 PM
when you say you got 100 dollars more than your last refund, i'm just saying that's not because you were taxed less on each check. getting taxed less on each check in general means you would have more to owe come tax season, if your income was the same

uh-oh
01-14-2020, 02:58 PM
I know. I was only pointing out I got more back in both facets. I got more on my checks and more back. I didn't end up owing come tax time, they still took too much out. 100 dollars more than the year before, even after seeing the increase on all my checks
