Regular season resumes July 31st. Most teams only will play about 6-7 games including the first ever "play in" games. Where the 8th, 9th, and 10th seeds will have a 2 game mini-tournament for each conference. Once the seeds are set, it'll be normal playoff format. The only thing is that no fans are in attendance. There is no such thing as "home court advantage" and most rosters are going to be relying on 12 man rosters. A lot of teams will be missing depth and tons of players may be quarantined randomly or outright DQed entirely due to infection. Injuries will also more than likely be at an all-time high.
Honestly? This is probably the most excited I've been for NBA ever. Even during the Mavs title run, the anticipation is killing me. 21 year old Luka and 24 year old KP have just as much a chance as any if they stay healthy.
Even if we dont win the title, I'm excited to see the most decorated European player under the age of 25 to play real playoff ball.
