Im a horror kinda guy.. paranormal and demonic entity type horror to be more precise. Not really into mutilation and slasher type horror.

Having said that.. im really looking forward to conjuring 3.

The Babadook & Sinister 1 & 2 are up there on my list, Deliver us From Evil was good, as well as Conjuring 1 & 2 and The Nun, though not exactly very recent. Annabelle was cool but lacking compared to my prior mentions.

I guess the most recent ive seen that i liked was kevin bacon in "you should have left". Thought it was good, it disnt get great reviews but these type of movies rarely do. I liked it

Lived in a haunted house a while as a youngin, thats another story.. but thats why i have such a strong preference for this type of film.

If you have any strong recommendations for me that would be great, though ill warn you, there isnt much in this specific genre that i havnt hunted down and already seen. But i am always looking for something new that i havnt seen. So please, suggest away.

Ok said to much. Pz

Yea. Screw those slasher gore shit. Wouldnt find em appealling either.

Nun was scary. Paranormal activity the first few entries were great. Got boring from then on.

But to name a movie i liked last would be.

They live .. john carpenter shit.

and I love happy gillmore for one... billy madison was kind of funny when I was a kid.... but I watched it as an adult and no so much

happy gilmore was the shit though.. watch hubbie halloween I already have and it sucks... but the dope thing was that he brings all these same people back.. brought back steve buschimmi.. and he's a great actor on sopranos and some other shit... and a bunch of other people that sandler brings on all his movies

... I just watched Big Daddy with my daughter for the first time.. must've been the 10x ftime i've seen it.. was one of my favorites

The First World War. Ten part documentary on Amazon prime or IMDB tv; styled a lot like a Ken Burns flick. Incredibly well done and informative. People forget how insane that war was... and how much it changed everything.

I would love to see Spielberg tackle the First World War

Paths of glory is obvi my favorite cause I love everything Kubrick but I just want to see a high production ww1 film one day . If only there was a way to capture the conflicts on all fronts .. cinematography gold. The vibrant uniforms .. hell .. the Ottoman Empire is grossly underrepresented in film

I think it's the most violent and gory in the series, but fuck what they did to lorie strode and micheal in the end, I heard it ended like that because Rob Zombie didn't want to make another one, and he didn't want to do it in the first place because he don't like reboots, he said he might as well so someone else don't fuck it up lol.

I honestly think someone was blowing people up with their mind but they didn't reveal that in the movie, it was more a play on the pandemic and a virus was causing it.
