I know there are a couple guys on here that produce. Any of you familiar with Neural Mix Pro? Its a new app that came out a couple months ago, apparently. I just heard about it yesterday. It’s fairly cheap, at least relative to most production software... and it actually separates melodies, drums, and vocals in any song you put into it. Unfortunately, it only takes songs you have in iTunes, so unless you want to pay for them, you need to use a YouTube to mp3 converter to download songs for it...

I’ve been using it and it actually works surprisingly well. The only other software I’ve ever heard of that could do this is Isotope RX, buts that really expensive.

Any one else use it? If not, I highly suggest checking it out. At least for folks that sample a lot. For me, I think it might be a game changer. I can’t tell you how many song melodies and/or vocals that I’ve wanted to sample over the years, but couldn’t because underlying drums got in the way.

Yeah, I have a Mac, so I didn’t look to see if it was supported on any other platforms.
