Pretty good. Ross was great, per usual. Jonah, Sandberg, Hader were great because of their unique takes on roasting. Jonah and Sandberg with the anti-roasting, Hader for pulling off that character. It could've been horribly corny or fell flat, but he was good. As far as pure roasters go, Ross was the best. Kroll was good, but I expected more. Silverman was funny. Legero wasn't that great to me. Franco's response was funny at points, and a little dry at others. The ender of his response didn't do it for me. Overall, though, definitely worth the watch. I'd say I laughed the most at Sandberg.

You should be talking over your lines with your partner, working on how to word them most effectively and how to better spin the name plays. This netceeing stuff isn't serious enough to make that worthwhile, but it would be a big advantage to anyone who took that time.

So yes, Jeff Ross writes his own material. But he probably doesn't write all of it, and he definitely goes over it with the other writers beforehand, again, if only to let them know what he's doing. And when you're a professional comedy writer listening to another professional comedy writer read his latest material, of course you're going to say "I didn't like that line," or "You should start with that," or "That's a great idea, but you've got to add something to it."
