Yes, the breakaway text topical/storytelling league has returned (for those still writing!)

The plan is to host a low-key weekly topical league in the Open Mic forum here.

No sub-forum. No forced sign-ins. No bullshit.

If you’re here and you’re interested in writing, sign up.

We aren’t looking for double-figure signups here. If this gets 2, 4 or even 6 people signup — then that’s what we roll with. We can start small and build or we can sit around doing nothing and let this die.

New battles will go up Sunday night UK time, verses will be due Friday night UK time.

yo I'm taking "verses due Friday UK time" to mean that verses are due 1159 pm UK of Thursday.

I usually prefer about 8-9pm. Lol. I’m not sitting up until midnight to check if you rascals have posted, so long as they’re up by Saturday morning my time I’m quite happy to proceed.

I should really try and get some set of EST time zone figured out so you guys are aware though. I’ll look into that.
