When the information was unearthed apparently ALIEN left the site as a result

This version of NC has nothing to do with the one Lama originally made. I think Diode made this version later on, but Lama’s original one was different. Then we had the Art Of Battling name for a while, before this iteration of NC came round

You have to realise that before NC was even a thing, Lama made BragginWrites (which I believe itself was built off the back of another Diode owned board actually?)

BW was absolutely more about the writing and baffling aspect than the Disc forum

The David Lama ran NC was pretty much the same as BragginWrites, tourney after tourney of text battles trying different things, archiving all the former sites battles, still very much predominantly text battle based over discussion really but it did have its regular lolz and trolls for sure

Originally it was more of an archive site where allah/lama was trying to consolidate the archives of tourneys and battle arenas of the other big sites; starting with bboys, RapMusic, Projectrhyme and RB I believe. A couple of others.

I actually never stopped paying lol. I was told I would and GoW never took my card off. Namix never even paid a cent. Was always on my card on autopay for almost two years. I gave it to Diode but GoW fudged up the account with the domains I’m almost certain on purpose cus he didn’t like the idea so Diode did .org. I had .co and .net

I also ran most of the leagues and tournies for the battling side during the transition. Fuck a URL like you said it’s just a continuation of my database. I did all of the work.
