I had the same thing happen to me at a mall a few years back. A chick came up and asked if I was a model, and if not I should go to a place in a neighboring city. I put a portfolio together and went, 'cause the flattery worked. Walked in gave the front desk my portfolio, got called into some office with a lady that said I had a great build, bone structure, and all that. Then she reached in her desk and pulled out all these papers for the classes they offer. Runway training, commercial/acting classes, etc. Then she was like "$850 is a great price for the bundle, and I think it's a good investment for you." That's when I was like "daaaamn, they made a nigga feel special for a minute."

A couple months later, I find myself in bootcamp marching in formation.
