lmao

Yeah.. it must suck having that last name.

But I'm sure Tennessee cats have his jersey.. outside of that state there prolly ain't many more.

His jersey sales will fly thru the roof in Canada tho.

Strikta

Yeah.

They fucked up tho.. cuz Rudy Gay is kinda close to being elite & is still developing. He hasn't reached his ceiling by any means, talent wise.

Allen Knight

Well I live 20 miles from Tennessee and no one has his jersey here either haha. But Memphis always trades people right before they're prime and gets people that are out of their prime. Did the same thing to Pao Gasol

Memphis doesn't 'always' do anything. They've been a team for what, 10 years? lol gtfoh

The Wizards on the other hand... DO trade before talent develops routinely.

Zen
01-31-2013, 11:50 AM
Well hows this for you, Since they have been a team they have always traded away talent?

Allen Knight
01-31-2013, 11:58 AM
they got rid sheerf abdur raheem
they traded mike bibby straight up for j-will (kinda even trade but i thought they both were better on there original teams)
they had iverson even tho thats when he was not givin a fuck (still my fav player of all time)
gasol
mike dickerson
shane battier
mike miller
they had all these guys when they were still developing except ai but id still pick him over whoever
an traded them for nothing.

This is actually a great deal for the Grizzlies.
Rudy Gay for Tayshaun Prince, Austin Daye and Ed Davis
They traded Rudy Gay for two great three-point specialists, both of whom can play the multiple positions, and a solid, young big.
The team is centered around two low-post scorers: Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph.
Zach Randolph/Marc Gasol will get a ton more opportunities due to the spacing created by having two 40+% three point shooters.
This will allow Conley/Allen more space to drive in the lane without a third player who relies on driving to get most of his points.
If anything, this trade takes Memphis from "a fourth-seed" to "contender." You're acting like Rudy Gay was a 'star' player. He was at one time, but he's having a down year, and he's really expensive.
While we're on the topic of Pau Gasol, would you rather have Pau or Marc right now on your team?

AK the only ppl on that list worth anything at the time of those moves were Pau & M. Miller.

I hate Shane Battier btw.
